A quality 3” lift is much more cost effective if you are just looking to run 40s.
Once you get beyond 3” you need to look at driveshaft, lines, all 8 control arms.
Options definitely affect scheduling and timing. Especially when part availability has been spotty.
On my previous build it was spray in bed liners and color matched fenders that seemed to cause the most hold up for people.

I ran the numbers between Grupton and Spencer in Iowa. They came out very close considering the additional doc fees Grupton charges over Spencer.
In the end my local dealer matched the 5% under that Spencer quoted and his $100 doc fee. So I would only have saved about $250 going to Grupton...
Why not order with a dealer that doesn’t care if you take delivery? Hard for many dealers to get lot inventory and sold orders get priority. So placing an order should be no risk to them. That will buy you 2ish months to see what Jeep does and you can decide then if you want it or wait for 22...
