I got a 1.5" leveling kit to reduce the rake. That's as far as I'm going to go unless later on (after some natural dings and scratches) I want to push doing things off road. Steep but minor obstacled hunting trails are as far as my needs currently go, and this truck handles them with ease...
I ordered one of these last Friday and yesterday (Wednesday) it was here! Kinda shocked it came so quickly from Canada. Hopefully I can get it opened up and take a look at it over the weekend. Will post pics and a review when I do if anything is outstanding or problematic.
Glad to hear your positive report. Would love some shots from the trails if you got any. Also thanks for the head's up on the rear hitch skid, that had been saved in my cart and is about to get ordered! Yours took a beating!
Just ordered one since our size came back in stock. Fingers crossed it will come in as good of shape as what you guys and the folks on Calguns are getting. With any luck my first Gladiator truck camping trip will be soon. Thanks for posting this!
Update, Vivid racing's website said "In Stock," but now their ship date is longer than Quadratec's even! Asked for them to cancel my order and got this:
Just swell.
Same, this is my living room:
I have 9 other planted tanks through the house and my back room at work. I like wood grips on my 1911s, and the plastic bumpers on my Gladiator are one of the only major changes I'll make. It's just a feel thing. By the way, if you ever want any cuttings, let me...
So sorry for your loss. I lost my own mother to cancer coming up on two years ago and it's still hard. She was a gardener and beekeeper and I often take a photo and still for a half second think I will send it to her. Loss lingers for so long. She's entirely the reason I'm on this forum and have...
If I were retired and had a 2nd Wrangler/Gladiator to drive around and had a covered area to keep it in and my truck could haul that and they paid me, I'd do it for sure.
It actually looks like a sweet camper, it's just the antithesis of what I bought my Jeep to do.
I think my post was worded less than concisely, sorry about that. I bought my truck with the 8.4", I'm just looking to upgrade the speakers that are easy.
It's canvas, and was a painting for a trashy pulp novel cover. The artist got his start doing that and later got some acclaim for his civil war era paintings. https://www.mortkunstler.com/html/store-limited-edition-prints.asp?CATID=158
That thought crossed my mind but I won't know until I try to get the new ones on. REALLY hoping it's not an issue where they drilled holes off center and therefore nothing will go on straight. If that's the case, I'll escalate. Though REALLY hoping for a $100 fix.
Rather than start a new thread, thought I'd just ask here -is there a good and easy plug and play way for upgrading the 8.4"? It's fine and a light-years better than my buddy's JL with the 7", but far from mind blowing. I'd prefer to leave the knee speakers, since they're a PITA.
