It'll work. I've squeezed a GX470 fully built onto U-haul carhaulers. And towed it with my Mojave. Mojave being towed on that same trailer behind a 550 should be a breeze
Rated for more torque, better feel, higher load capacity, a lot more durable. Tbh I read any of the numerous topics on this forum from guys who have swapped. I only have the driving comparisons between the two. However that’s enough for me to know it’s a night and day difference.
I put on a stubby bumper that is 40lbs lighter than the deluxe arb. And with a winch installed I lost 3/4 in of ride height. It didn't drive worse but it does need a bit of counter balance in the rear to feel stock again. I ended up running a 3/4 spacer all around to get back to stock ride...
When your sirius XM guardian and convience package expires. it'll all go away. They want you to pay to be spied on lol. You can call sirius now if you want and have them turn it all off. However your app will no longer work, and the SOS function will not either. If you wanna take it a step...
Thats the AEV snorkel. You just have to figure out your own cut template to make it work. because the AEV cutout template they sent only works for one hood type. But since the snorkel kit just requires you to notch the hood, theoretically it should work on any trim level.
I only use airbags to level my truck out when towing. That an occasionally get a little bit of squat out if I'm running a bit heavy for a camping trip. And that's all its good for. A constant static load needs a respring, no question. besides what are you gonna do when that bag blows and its a...
I would say it depend on expectations. at most speeds (50mph and below). yeah your not gonna notice a few pounds. once you creep past 70 and start running into inclines, different story. Granted who needs to run that fast in a brick. I got a whopping 5 mpg gain over the stock tires by going...
So your saying the real solution is to just double the torque output. Who'd of thunk it?! Reasons I'm hemi swapping lol. Cus, the 3.6 ain't gonna hold longterm towing 5000lbs with 37s. No matter how deep you gear it.
I'd check your swaybar endlinks, track bar and shocks. Shocks should be fine because you have the red bodies but i could see constant 600lb payload being too much for em. swaybar end link frame tabs in the rear are notoriously weak and I've seen endlinks literally just rip right off. MC makes a...
edit: trans did not get hot. I had my tazer cooldown mode turned on which runs the fan at 100% what i didn't know was the tazer tricks the fan by stating a false 250 degree trans temp. It tricked me into shitting a brick too.
yeah see i didn't know it falsified the trans temp. So when i was using it on the beach I bout shit a brick cus offroad pages said my trans was 250. Thought i blew the trans towing my camper on the beach lol.
