Milwaukee fan here. I have 5 of their M18 tools. All work flawlessly. The one thing that sealed the deal for me was when the company owned impact gun took a dump. I sent it in expect to pay the diagnostic fee. It was returned a week later fixed at no charge. I've not needed anything else...
So many of those Cars.com or Autotrader ads have small print at the bottom adding back $3-$6k in BS. I skip over dealers that do that. Gettel is one of them. Every vehicle they advertise has close to $5k of BS including the "Gettel advantage package". 🙄
I started with the halogen, put in LED bulbs in those and then the OEM LED headlight assemblies. There's no comparison. The OEM LED's are really good. I did not get any flickering. I used Jscan to enable the LED.
I had a similar issue. I ended up drilling a hole in the winch cover to route the wires out the right side instead of the back. Later I upgraded to the 2024 grille. That provided plenty of room if I ever wanted to move the wires back to exiting the rear.
So I think I've followed this thread since it started. That red stitched 392 wheel is on my want list now. I've read that the back of the steering wheel switches are a bit different to accommodate the paddles. I don't need the paddles. Does anyone know for sure if the back of the wheel...
I'm very pleased with my Badlands 12k synthetic from HF. It's pulled me out a couple of times, pulled friends out a couple of times and pulled a bunch of trees out of the yard. The wireless controller works great. It's nice to be able to be in the driver's seat working the winch when needed...
I went with the Iron Rock 2" lift. My thought process; I liked the way it handled and rode currently. A spacer lift "should" leave the truck riding the same. Handling would primarily only be affected by the change in the center of gravity from raising it. A big concern for me was spending...
It would be interesting to map out a few variables on motors that have had this failure. Things like oil change interval, oil brand, do you use the ESS.....
I'm one of those "old school" guys that still believes that the majority of engine wear happens at start up. ESS just seems like a...
Tough to beat the 94R AGM battery from Walmart for $179 with 4 year free replacement. Easy to find a place to replace it if needed. My aux battery has been removed. The original primary battery is still working after 4 years. I do keep a emergency jump start power pack behind the back...
Installed a 2" Iron Rock spacer lift with some sway bar disconnect end links. I really like how this truck handles and rides on the road. I didn't want to screw that up. I figured a spacer lift would keep the ride the same. Plus it's cheap enough that if I don't like it, I can revert to...
I picked one of these up I guess over a year ago. It kind of worked and then it didn't work at all. The "Kind of" worked was a bit fussy about just how I double clicked the window switch. It's still installed and still doesn't work. I guess I wanted auto up and down on all 4 bad enough to...
Installed some protection.
1. Rusty's rear control arm mount skids.
2. Rock Hard front control arm mount skids. (Still not sure why the refer to them as Front Upper/Frame Side Control Arm Skid Plates. They are for the lower control arm mount).
3. Front and rear diff skids. (Rancho for the...
I've been really surprised at how capable my Sport S is. The crawl mode is amazing. 29* dirt incline. Other rigs were having to go full send to get up it. I put my lowly Sport S into 4 low, clicked the button the dash and crept up the hill never spinning a tire. After that I stopped...
