Recommend these for everyone. We took the front sway bar off our JKU to run this and a frame chop front bumper…. ORO makes great stuff- and the torsion bar used is stiffer than stock when locked in. 110% best sway bar out there. (From a functions stand point). Literally the same articulation as...
This should be a fun thread.
I went with duralast platinum agm
Small size 400
Large size H7/94R
are there better out there? Sure, but in a year? Or two? Or whatever before the warranty runs out…. I don’t want to be in the middle of no where waiting for a special order battery to get sent to me...
Yeah- I’m not disagreeing with you. It’s one of those places that while you’re in there, regardless of the “reason” axle seals etc. are all cheap in comparison to the labor to get there. I would re-use the pinion bearing…. But I also have the right tools to remove them without damaging the...
^^ truth. I have heard of folks changing without replacing? But I don’t know how preload is maintained on the pinion bearings then. ? nuts, but I don’t think it’s really “that” big of a pain to just pull the carrier and do it right ??‍♂️ beats having to do a master overhaul down the road.
Suck as in slide on residential roads (at residential speeds) when stopping, spinning when leaving from a stop- (this is my wife driving and complaining…. And she drives pretty lightly). To be totally fair with the slow speed issues, cause lack of confidence, and never really pushed it through...
While I understand your point. They flat out suck for “wet” traction after 25k…. From a percent/ratio perspective, a tire with a 55k warranty shouldent be dicey when used 1/3 of its life…. ;)
I would like to see the products and features you put in the current vehicles work. Basics- like, I would like to press the off road pages and not have to wait 5 minutes, for it to load. I would like the remote start to take into effect the ambient temp. Vs the temp from the night before.
Why...
Yes. When you start pushing 120+ a corner hydro assist, ball joints, tie rod ends (aluminum tie rod)…
hydro assist is going to pull a lot of the strain off the drag link and sector shaft…. Yes the sector shaft is significantly larger than previous Jeep models but 120-130 is starting to be a lot.
What are you at mileage wise?? We hit around 25k and the tires were trash… they have LOADS of meat, but road traction takes a dive…. Wet road traction was enough for us to replace.
Maintenance- tires were rotated every 5k miles (with oil change).
What was super crazy is their first and second...
Should have went with my gut when we ordered the jeep- should have passed on LED’s and ordered heated JW speakers…
Just enough snow to block the headlights.
Don’t get too bent out of shape. I have had several 3.6’s…. It was a joke… But also don’t kid yourself either 400+ tq is awesome. For awareness I have owned a 3.6 with 5.13’s on 37’s it “worked”… I greatly appreciate not having to carry so much extra gas around off road (saline valley…).
In...
You have a manual…. And the shop is claiming ecu update to reflect the gears/tires are what’s doing it… ?‍?
Your transfer case is comprised of gears and chains- unless you have the full auto awd transfer case…. (But I
Well I guess you really need to determine if it’s the differential or the...
There are a lot of people that use and love the tazer…. I thought I did too, and I suppose I do like the ability to get the hot key/buttons on the steering wheel- sway bar disconnect in 2wd, ess/abs/traction control kill, and rear locker on/drift mode…..
But so many finicky bits with the...
My wife is the champion of short trips. 2-3 miles one way tops 6 times a day. We change the oil every 5k - never had the oil tested for fuel dilution amounts. ??‍♂️ she gets 22 mpg in town (with 37” tires). This last week we haven’t gotten much above 25* so dropped a couple more than normal...
