Stock Overland getting 22-23 mpg around town 85 octane gas. Im at 4700 elevation though. Probably 26 or better all highway unless it’s really windy or going over 75 MPH
My 2022 Overland weighs alittle under 5000 lbs when I got weighed at the rock yard. After seeing the different weights on these I can see why some people complain about power and gas mileage with the 3.6.
I love my Bridgestone all season on my overland and I get no vibrations at any speed even at 90 mph on intersate 70.
I also get 22 - 23 mpg on gas Around town. Highway 25-26 plus ! I only have 12,000 miles but seem to be wearing great ?? They also ride well and are quiet !! It’s funny everybody...
Sorry your going through this !! They say it affects a low percentage of 3.6 s But there has to be a reason why this is happening ? It’s hard not to wonder who’s next. It’s been on my mind ever since I have heard about it !! I also agree about metal shavings going through the motor ? Hopefully...
The shop isn’t booked 2 1/2 years they are playing him. Someone would have to be pretty naive to believe that. Definitely not a reasonable time for a warranty repair.
Just a thought ? Have you contacTed the Owner of this dealership ? Let them know the service you are getting ? Maybe tell them you are going to make some serious waves and probably get a lawyer ? Sometimes it helps ? I was a manager and tech at dealerships for 40 plus years and they usually...
Jeep Gladiator has lost a significant amount of value because Jeep manufactured way too many 2023s at ridiculous msrp and right up to the first of the year. They totally screwed them selves and their customer base. I believe value might gain alittle in time ?? They didn’t even need a 24 model...
That’s BS !! The warranty is 5 years unlimited mileage for corrosion on outer finished panels. Jeep can’t even get that right ?? https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/attachments/p140228_22_j_g_gw_en_us_digital-pdf.324635/
The ones I have seen shutting down vehicles were many years ago and they were put on by small used car dealers. Vehicles were also budget vehicles. Yes your are right these could of been deadly at the wrong time !! Can’t even imagine with the law suits today !!
we ran into this in the 80s and 90s. That’s when the big 3 were actually American owned. Dealers we’re trying this and back then they were warned that they would loss there frAnchises if continuing this practice. They could put you off for a reasonable length of time however but nothing crazy...
Ya when I lived in New York years ago some used car dealers wold give you a code every month when a payment was made and if you miss it would shut down vehicle. We would have a car with this in our body shop working on and sure enough all of a sudden car wouldn’t run.
Wow I really don’t get this power thing ? My overland loaded with street tires and 3.6 8 speed runs great and I get 22- 23 mpg around town. I got a wild hair the other day and ran the glad pretty hard at every stop and wound her up to red line quite a few times. Even the people with me said...
Great job . I thought about doing this a while back. I worry about the covers holding moisture and dirt With the corrosion problem these have ? I would want covers easy to remove for blowing around hinges when washings and weather. Too bad they don’t just clip on ? They look great though !!
