  1. Lower MPG than expected. Anyone else?

Damn, my 2020 JTS is getting averaging 18 between in town and highway right now. And I have a lift, bumper, winch and 37x13.5s. The highways out here are 80mph as well.
  2. I killed my rear speakers

I'm partial to the Infinity Reference series. These will fit with some work https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R607CF/Infinity-Reference-REF607CF.html?tp=106 They're rated at 90w at 3 ohm for the tweeter and woofer. IIRC the Alpine system is 45w at 2 ohm for the tweeter and woofer each. So it...
  3. Gladiator "Highspeed" test

You're alot braver more foolish than I am. :p
  4. I killed my rear speakers

Do you have the Alpine system or the basic stereo? My recommendation will depend on that.
  5. At what height do I consider a control arm drop bracket?

If you have wobble I would check the torque on your suspension bolts. Replacing a steering stabilizer is almost always a bandaid and not the proper fix from what I've seen in 5 years on this forum.
  6. Well, time for number 5 (windshield replacement)

I'm still on number 2, I decided after #2 got a chip the same day I got it installed that I'd wait for a fix it ticket, or until something actually obstructed my vision.
  7. Here we go again - 3.73 with 35s - how bad is it really?

The bearing setup changed from older axles when Dana swapped to the Advantek. The pinion bearing changed from a tapered roller bearing to a double row angular contact ball bearing. So while yes they have, the bearing setup currently in the Advantek axles is only ~6 years old.
  8. Here we go again - 3.73 with 35s - how bad is it really?

I would just be worried about overspeeding/overheating the pinion bearing. The one I ripped out when I did the regear on mine already shows signs of overheating. I mean, I have suspicions of mine not being assembled correctly from the factory anyway, but going with 4.88s on 35s is already 20%...
  9. Let's talk about insuring aftermarket/parts

I had a rather long phone conversation with one of the agents when I switched to them 3ish years ago because he himself was a Jeeper. Pretty much I was told that aftermarket parts if damaged in an accident, so long as it's within a reasonable cost of the OEM parts to perform the repair, were...
  10. Here we go again - 3.73 with 35s - how bad is it really?

Idk how Yall are running 4.88s on 35s Even 4.56s on 37s is slightly more gearing than the JT has stock for a sport (31s/3.73s on left 37s/4.56 right)
  11. Here we go again - 3.73 with 35s - how bad is it really?

Op it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. I ran Yokohama Geolandar X-ATs in 35x12.5 E load for 4.5 years (70lbs each). I never had any issues accelerating, yeah I didn't see 8th gear very often but with the 8 speed it really didn't matter. I averaged anywhere from 16-18mpg depending...
  12. [sorry, please delete]

Nah it's definitely a ground issue
  13. [sorry, please delete]

    Shitposting thread? Shitposting thread.
  14. Any Idea of 2025 Announcement Date?

My friends and I rented a Wrangler 4XE for a couple weeks back in May. Honestly I was not a huge fan. It was gutless when the battery was dead, only had 17 miles of EV range, and because of where we were staying there was nowhere to plug it in so we were stuck with the dead battery. I will say...
  15. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

    Two badges in two days?!
  16. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Watched the sunrise on Monument Ridge this Morning. About time I got another badge anyway.
  17. Bumper configuration...

It's more efficient to just get rear sliders than a full bumper replacement on the rear. As for the front, narrow front bumpers provide more room for you or maneuver your tires towards obstacles, and many have a more robust winch plate than the stock, or even upgraded mopar bumper.
  18. My First Modern Jeep - 2021 JT Gladiator Rubicon

Looks good, welcome to the club!
  19. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

150amps at 12v is within the rated load of all of the alternators available in the JT, and well below the max sustained draws of many popular winches. The only issue OP has is again, the factory inverter is only rated for 400w
