KC Hilites? There’s a lot of options out there but the day lighters are classic. Are you looking for a round led aux light or the mounting brackets because there’s a ton of options out there.
I’m sure you could do it with a cheaper solution if you just want it covered every once in a while. Like some pipe insulation. It won’t look as nice but if it’s only for a day here or there it’s way cheaper I’m sure.
I keep a military surplus hardigg case locked in the bed of my truck with that and some other essentials like towels and recovery straps in the bed of my truck. It’s my $40 solution to a tool box until I get a tonneau. Florida summers are too unpredictable to not keep my top close at hand when...
I'd be super super careful messing with that. Springs are dangerous to begin with. I suspect it's even worse at the moment because that for sure doesn't look right.
I’ve noticed since joining the forum admittedly only like a month ago that while most people are great there’s also some really toxic people. You’ve just got to ignore the toxic ones although it does make me wish for a Reddit like downvote sometimes to get rid of the really toxic ones. Thanks op...
The dealers i my area had 0 wranglers available and only one Jtr but I had my pick of maybe 7-8 sports which since I wanted a maxtow worked for me. On the other hand there were also no Tacoma’s at a dozen Toyota dealers in the Tampa Bay Area. Here people like the gladiator, they just only want...
I’ve noticed it’s a lot less common in my area with the gladiator than it used to be with my cj and TJ. Of course there’s a lot of tricked out mall crawlers and take a wild guess which group tends to not wave back.
I haven’t personally used headlight revolution but my dad has some of their stuff on his Sierra and they’ve been super helpful including getting it fixed when one of his headlights went dead after a while, they may just be super backed up. On figuring out who is good and bad some of it you learn...
This makes me really happy that the local dealer had almost exactly the JT I wanted in stock a few weeks back. It just didn’t have the aux switches or cargo management package which are fairly easy adds minus the lack of an outlet out back. I’m sorry to hear how this has been impacting other...
Had a cj that at best had a bikini on it for years. A TJ unlimited that rarely was covered until recently but this one has far too much tech for me to not be worried about a freak rain storm (which has already happened to me) hitting again.
It's insane, and then the one time my car gets hit while parked the other driver is shockingly uninsured. The insurance agents i've talked to said that is a large part of the crazy rates in Florida though.
I think it depends on where you live too, I live in the Tampa area and get cut off at least once a day on the highway which means the car is suddenly trying to brake hard because all of the sudden there is someone in front of you. It's also why my insurance almost quadrupled when i moved my car...
For what it’s worth my insurer told me it came out to about a dollar a feature a month. I wouldn’t pick it anyways because the rentals I’ve had with it felt a little too ready to jump in at the wrong time but it’s up to you and what makes you feel safe.
