Wow....that is significantly less expensive then the Mopar plate. I’m a bit embarrassed to say that I think I paid $750 for it. Everything is relatively more expensive up here though. The 2” Mopar lift was just over $2,400.00 for example.

I spent a lot of years as a towing and recovery operator, and you definitely do your best with what you have at your disposal. It used to really irritate me how many vehicles come without any attachment points for recovery. I still carry a nylon bridle with mini ‘J’ hooks that fit into...

Not literally today, but a couple of weeks ago I was able to help a nice family that was stuck near the Columbia Icefields between Jasper and Banff. I put my front wheels on rolled up sections of chain so I had some grip on the icy road, and used a snatch block.
