Gotcha, I have mostly 40s around here, a few 45s. And a local(ish) company sells a guaranteed 50 or higher. That’s the only one I’ve used since the Jeep was new. Wondering if an additive would still be beneficial.

What’s the cetane rating where you all are filling up? Is there a cetane rating that you would be comfortable with without using additives?

Quick update everyone. I was told by my rep that the best mpg gains were on sport + mode or even more on race mode if driven easily. I’ve been testing out the race mode and over 1.5 tanks of fuel(50 cetane) I’m averaging 28.2 mpg on the factory muds with my rubi… and where I live in VA is...
I spoke with AFE, it’s due to airflow as you guys guessed. The jl/JT platform just needs more air to be more powerful safely. I have obtained a sponsorship from AFE and maybe when my intake comes finally in I’ll try turning the tuner up slowly and hope it takes it…
