  1. Are all three of the Badge of Honor trails at windrock doable in a stock JTR?

Here is what we did on gaia oddly enough, it looks like the jeep badge of honor for trail 51 actually has trail 11 outline on it
  2. Are all three of the Badge of Honor trails at windrock doable in a stock JTR?

Windrock is an awesome place. Tons of trails for all difficulty levels and the people there are amazingly nice and helpful. I was there for the first time 3 weeks ago in my sport s with a 1.5" front spacer, a 1/2" rear spacer, and 35's. Of the three badge of honor trails, i did two: Trails 26...
  3. Steering Wheel Cleaning

From what i've read, most automotive leathers are colored and then coated with a clear protective layer similar to a paint job. But everything is semi porous, so dirt and hand oils can penetrate and need to be removed. Some cleaners are gentle and can remove dirt and oil without hurting the...
  4. Steering Wheel Cleaning

If you do the colourlock system, do the mild cleaner and do it as many times as you need. The strong cleaner will start to take the clearcoat off of the wheel unfortunately
  5. Looking at the Gladiator from behind....

I think they look a little more proportional from the rear with a skinnier bed look with the oracle taillights and wider rear stance with tires / XR flares

  9. Katzkin Installed

Looks great! Love the color combo. Did you do heated or no heated? Or if not, did you get a price on adding heat? I'm planning on adding leather and not sure if heat is worth it or not here in NC. Any input appreciated!
  10. Gladiator walks when you hit bumps.

You won't believe how good your JT can ride / drive when: 1) you have a quality set of shocks and a quality steering stabilizer, 2) you have proper front axle caster, and 3) you have a properly adjusted steel steering box, tightened in some cases depending on amount of steering wheel dead...
  11. Gladiator walks when you hit bumps.

sure thing - SP2 2.1 set on "soft", and the nexus non-adjustable stabilizer
  12. Gladiator walks when you hit bumps.

My "walking sideways" over bumps issue was due to the overly soft oem sport s shocks. They are too soft relative to the springs, so when i hit a bump, the axles did whatever they wanted to, and that usually meant going in different directions. Solid axles don't like to be misaligned. A set of...
  13. EcoDiesel - Steering Box Slop

Oh, and it's so fantastic afterward. You'll love it. Can't believe i left mine alone for as long as i did
  14. EcoDiesel - Steering Box Slop

I was able to break mine loose without heat, but i have the 3.6, so space might be different. Mark with paint first, then I used a hex key socket on an extension and 3/8 drive swivel bar/handle to keep the center from moving, and two wrenches end-to-end to create a longer wrench for the nut. The...
  15. Biggest tire I can get with no regearing needed?

The silver ones are still on sale - 50% off. I bought the silver ones and painted them black since i knew i would be dinging them up on the trail (as i already managed to do ?) and would have to touch up / paint them anyways https://www.aev-conversions.com/product/jk-salta-wheel/
  16. LEDs

I ran ALLA LED bulbs in my reflector housings and they were extremely bright. However, there was a slight glare above the hotspot, and i think the intensity paired with the slight glare got me flashed at until they were adjusted "too low" for their benefit. So i recently replaced them with the...
  17. Flush Mount Tail Lights

Yes, originally halogen, now switched to "led" using JScan with oracles and not using the resistor
