  1. Rattle from engine when accelerating (sounds like keys)

Same thing here. No idea what it is, and just rolling with it. Nothing has changed it, not fuel octane, not oil viscosity, not oil catch can, not teraflex crank ventilation system (all of which developed leaks, but that's another story). No rough idle or engine performance problems, just get...
  2. Borla attack exhaust

I absolutely love my S-Type if you were considering that. They nailed the tone and sound level if you're looking for clean sound but also want to hear the exhaust a bit, volume wise. Great balance and i'd definitely buy it again
  3. FIRECRACKER RED Gladiator JT Club

Apologies for another driveway pic, but the plan is to get some Uwharrie pics this weekend!
  4. SHOW ME YOUR WHEELS!

Still enjoying the jk saltas on 285/75/17 ko2's
  5. Keeping your Jeep shiny clean when parked outside?

I don't intentionally, although when i use the spray as a drying aid, some inevitably gets on the mirrors, cowl, bumpers, fenders, etc. and it does fine. I like to use the old regular mothers back-to-black on bumpers and fenders. I used mothers ceramic version on those once and it didn't turn...
  6. I am a hippo-critter...?

No, do it now and post pics It's so hard to resist. If you didn't, i'd feel better
  7. I am a hippo-critter...?

Still a no-option sport S badass here, lol. But seriously, every time i say "i'll never" i always end up doing. So i'll never buy a porsche 911. Ever. Never ever
  8. Rear sway bar upgrade options

Teraflex sells a long-travel kit that relocates the bar i believe. No hang down at all if i recall correctly
  9. Fender Flare Paint Removal

Couldn't you wrap with satin black vinyl?
  10. Keeping your Jeep shiny clean when parked outside?

One more because i can't stop staring at it lol
  11. FIRECRACKER RED Gladiator JT Club

Low light, but the firecracker just glows!
  12. Keeping your Jeep shiny clean when parked outside?

This is Mothers CMX spray hyperwax. Not expensive and quick/easy to apply
  13. Why do aftermarket wheels have to look so... aftermarket?

You mean the 996 wheels? Lol
  14. Why do aftermarket wheels have to look so... aftermarket?

+1 for AEV. Love my saltas But also, Quadratec makes oem replicas in 8.5" wide if you want a factory look. Filter Quadratec brand wheels on their site and they've got a few options
  15. Your first Jeep photos?

First jeep was an '88 XJ that i broke a ball joint 1/2 mile down a trail and had to haul tools for a field-repair to drive out in 2wd. Was HOOKED from there! Then '99 XJ with long arms and swampers '04 nonJeep (ducks) '06 XK '05 WK '06 XK '20 JT!
  16. Recommended sway bar disconnects?

I like the function of my teraflex quick disconnect kit, and it isn't expensive, but it does put my front sway bar at an angle (links too long) even with a 1.5" front spring spacer and effectively stiffens it. Not a huge deal, but the jeep would probably drive/ride marginally better if the bar...
  17. Stock Diff Covers

Some re-use the gasket and some do not. I was looking at both the AEV and Teraflex covers. The AEV covers re-use the gaskets. The Teraflex covers do not. Probably need to check each manufacturer individually
  18. Stock Diff Covers

I got mine mostly for insurance. Nothing should be hitting it, but wheeling all day over hundreds of rocks and you're bound to not see one, lol The diffs are the lowest "important" thing on the jeep. Some form of protection there is a good idea in general
