I was dirt poor at the time. Seriously poor. I couldn’t afford to replace the more expensive parts that needed replacement. It was actually cheaper to buy a small Subaru and run that around.
Not quite the same issue, but during my recent service, they couldn’t “read“ my computer for some reason when I brought it in. They managed to do an update on it that fixed the navigation, uconnect and wifi issues I’ve been having.
The dealer had to do a system update during the last service I just had. No longer having connection issues. The Uconnect is actually working like it should now too.
So I got partial resolution. A tech who read about my issue on FB told me to “reset” my radio by holding the off button for 10 seconds and resetting it.
I have had to do that several times but at least the wifi connects after doing this and turning the radio back on.
I used to have a straight 6. That thing could haul and was as steady as a rock. Unfortunately my wallet was just not thick enough to pay for all of the maintenance it really needed once the miles got over 240k.
I just got off the phone with AT&T asking why my wifi quit working about five days ago. Apparently there was a Uconnect update that has affected a LOT of vehicles a bit over a week ago. Mine was one of them. So if your WiFi suddenly stopped being able to get signal about that time, there’s one...
I live in an area with no street lights and LOTS of wild life and occasionally the two legged one who likes to dress in black and walk their dog on blind corners. I would appreciate the extra light.
