LOL! ?
I brought this to my dealer’s attention shortly after I hit the 3-year mark, but well within my extended warranty.
They told me they would start by charging $185 to spray it with a hose to verify the leaking. Then, I could be presented the opportunity to either put that soaking wad of...
I have the larger Cascadia panel on my Overland hood. 95% of the time it is simply maintaining the awful batteries from the factory.
I do like that 5% of the time I can run additional accessories and have confidence that I won’t risk draining the batteries without running the engine .
I wasn’t...
I have the same tires and wheels.
I also used JSCAN to update the tire height.
I found this method to be the most accurate way of determining the correct tire height value to enter via JSCAN. Just FYI.
In the first post, OP said the lugs are LESS THAN half the weight, so…
5 OEM lugs = .88lbs
5 Ti lugs = .43lbs
x4 Wheels:
OEM = 3.52lbs
Ti = 1.72lbs
That means, you could easily purchase TWO FULL SETS of Ti lugs (3.44lbs) and keep the second full set in the truck JUST IN CASE some rapscallion...
One thing I wish I could do with JSCAN, would be to enable the Blindspit warning sound when my doors are off.
Currently, the truck completely disable BSM when the doors are off—understandably, the side mirror visual warning won’t work with the mirrors removed, but I would think the lack of...
Dude! Totally go for it!
I love the idea—gotta save weight.
I’ve got a guy in Manchester Township, NJ who fills all four tires (plus my spare) with hydrogen—that’s a 14x weight savings vs that atmospheric gutter gas we’ve all been pumping quarters for our whole lives.
I also weighed all the...
You think that’s bad? My buddy was keeping his Jacobs Ladder:,
a nest of Mogwais,
and his entire collection of group 1 metals behind his rear seats and had the truck parked outside his wife’s boyfriend’s motel when a light rain started.
Needless to say, he was waxing Jody’s car for a month...
I did both the flowable silicon and the vacuum hose fixes.
I had some rain a few days after the silicone but before installing the hose—the flowable stuff reduced leakage quite a bit, but not 100%—I still had minor/moderate water intrusion by the clip on the passenger-side.
I put the hose in a...
Is there supposed to be some sort of gasket between the hard top and the body of the truck (the area surrounding the back of the rear seats)? I noticed last time I swapped the hardtop I did not have any gasket there—curious if that is how it is or if I lost the seal at some point (2020...
This thread is 50+ pages of rear window seal leaks, service, work arounds, and discussion of flowable silicone, rubber hose diameters, and makeshift diapers.

The one I installed was made of a reasonably thick aluminum and had two in the set.
The instructions just have you face them in opposite directions for the drivers/passenger sides.
Installation took all of 5-minutes, and seems very solid...
I just installed these in both visors last week.

At this point, I’m learning to not expect a damn thing from Jeep/FCA for service.
I mean, if I realized the damn truck design had the thing peeing on my leg every time...
I noticed that the little headlight “cans” fill up with snow if I drive more than 10-minutes in the stuff.
I ended up getting some low-mount amber lights to cut through the falling snow. It ends up working pretty well.
