  1. What's the story here? (wrong answers only)

Oh great! Honey, we’re masking up again!
  2. Aftermarket Trail Rails - best recommendations / options?

I went with the UNITA system. Tie down anchors are stainless steel, not plastic like Mopar OEM. Believe it comes with four tie down anchors https://www.amazon.com/JT-Uinta-System-Tie-Down-Anchors/dp/B0B44Y93FQ Extra tie down anchors if needed...
  3. In The Middle Of The Night.....

You would be surprised how far away that remote can reach. I've been able make my Jeep beep from about a block away, and even inside a large shopping center. Next time you're out and about, try it. I'm always surprised how far away I can make it beep.
  4. SHOW ME YOUR WHEELS!

    Matte Gunmetal Rhino Warlord wheels.
  5. Got a rubicon badge…. Thoughts?

To me, it’s not factory, so it would draw negative attention like a cheesy aftermarket add on. Would be great on garage fridge though.
  6. Well....F$%K

I agree with LostWoods. That seems like a very low dollar estimate, especially going into the tub of the Gladiator.
  7. Side mirrors rattle?

On my older JL, I had a rattle coming from the front also. Checked everywhere, but found it was coming from the passenger mirror. Sounds weird, but squeeze the mirror together with the window down. It might be your culprit. The mirror is pieced together with a plastic cap facing the wind as you...

  9. Balancing Beads, weird problem!

I’ve used them in the past on motorcycles and UTVs but have stopped. If you do a search, you’ll find out that most of them tend to wear down and will become a problem eventually. Even if you place the valve stem near the top when you air down, some of the smaller worn beads will lodge in the...
  10. Anyone want to guess what color these are? Grey or Bronze.

Looks like a dull silver to me.....pewter.
  11. Frustrated with Jeep!

HPFP = High Pressure Fuel Pump (Eco Diesel).....for those following this thread. :)
  12. Aftermarket Trail Rail system?

I went with this and am very happy with it. Like it because it's metal, sits beneath the walls of the bed, and is compatible with the BAK Revolver X4s Tonneau. Also, the tie-downs are metal, not plastic like Mopar, but if you like, a Mopar tie-down will work with it...
  13. Bedliner or bed mat?

I did the Line X, followed by a Smartliner. I like the way the smart liner form-fits and doesn't move. Also being rubberized, things don't slide around. No complaints so far.
  14. Wondering if the former owner of my Gladiator is a forum member

My daughter bought a used mustang locally from a small town dealer. The past owner came up to her during a fireworks show when my daughter drove up to it. Long story short, but being from these small towns, my daughter ran into her several times since. The past owner was always saying stuff...
  15. New Gladiator delivered without side steps?

If you like the OEM rock rail look, but need them a couple inches wider, You could get the “Performance rock rails” that are wider than the standard ones.
  16. rant. I have a random mystery thunk

Did you check the factory Jack area? Maybe the bolt/screw for holding the Jack in place needs tweaking or the tire iron is loose.
  17. Matt is crazy! No locker wrangler skills!

That is amazing! Where I live, it's wooded trails with a bit of mud. I don't think I will ever be at Matt's level even with lockers. -Thanks Eddy
  18. Have you found a convenient spot in the gladiator for your wallet.

I went with a minimalist wallet years ago. Very happy with my Fantom hard sided with a money clip and air tag attachments
