I went with Mothers CMX. It’s a spray on wipe off “ceramic” coating. I’m not sure how well it will hold up compared to the professional stuff but it repels water really well. I used a clay bar on it first and did 3 coats after that. It took some time/work but I’m happy with the results.
Wife printed some vent decals on her Cricut. Thanks to this thread from the JL forum: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/fender-vent-flag-decal-download-and-print-yourself-or-order.13127/
I’m in the same boat. I think I’m going to put on steps for no other reason than they add more coverage than just sliders and I really don’t like the look of mud flaps.
Check the JL forums. I cut mine off. You have to remove the lower air dam and then remove the 6 or 7 screws holding those bumper extensions on. Once they are off you can’t take a utility knife and cut out the part that covers up fog lights and bolt it back on. I chose to take a dremel to them...
Trimmed off the front bumper/fender air deflection things last night. I was between keeping them and removing them but after removing them I knew they weren’t going back on.
Added floor mats, bed cover, seat covers, hood blackout decal, clay bar and ceramic coat, and put some fluid film in the rockers and rear fenders. It’s been a busy weekend.
Just got a call from my dealer that mine was delivered a few hours ago. Contacted Jeep chat 4 hours before this and they said it was still waiting to be shipped lol.
White Sport S w/Max Tow
Ordered 5/31
Delivered 7/2
Thanks for the good info guys. I just got off the phone with autoaccessoriesgarage.com and they gave me 10% off. So, $377 to my door before the $40 rebate.
Basics. White, Sport S, Max Tow, 7” screen, hardtop and convince package. I wanted to keep is basic because I’ll provably change a lot of things as I go. Probably why it’s going through the build so quickly
