yea, personally think it looks better. closer to level and I've actually thought about adding the other 3/4", but want to do control arms to get the caster right.
I'm talking about a spring spacer, not a wheel spacer.
I have 315 BFG's too.
I've had no interference issues and have run my swaybar disconnect several times. I have not twisted it up alot, but I did add a 1" spacer a couple of weeks later just for appearance.
I'll try and take a direct pic to post up this afternoon, they're really flush with...
I'm bout that 5 tire rotation life, but I'm worried the spare wheel will look like crap after it's time under the truck, finish and such.
plus, I let Discount rotate my tires. will they pull a under mounted spare and include in the rotation or would I have to have it in the bed? I put an...
unfortunately most lift's require a 4.5BS, rather not buy anything but want the spare to be usable.
I don't have any plans for a 5 wheel rotation either.
has anyone researched or found a good cheap solution for the spare? I really hate to buy a nice wheel and slap it under the truck to just get trashed. I want a 8.5-9" wide with 4.5BS, cheap. :) and light as possible.
will something like that fit???
here's the best I've come up with so...
are you wanting to change because of the way it drives or just snow performance? I don't think the Duratracs weight difference will make a difference in performance, just a couple of pounds difference between the 2.
personally, I would do a 315. make sure you re calibrate, that actually made...
probably hit the front bumper, high center, and drag the hitch on that rock. I'm only on 35's with a 1" front spacer.
looks like it might have had a better approach, less fun or impressive, from the driver side. is that one of the main obstacles or is it pretty standard, have any bypasses...
man that's wild...
so the tire is touching the dust shield on the shock? I would think it would rub the body because of the height, it shouldn't rub anything though. I'm running a 1" front spacer with the factory wheels and 35's with no issues, my tires should be slightly wider than yours...
@Renegade thanks! good info. I'm in the same boat, worried about break over and the hitch more than anything. maybe next time.
been looking at this for the hitch, but just seems high. like how compact it is and protection looks good...
not sure why I'm here or responding honestly, but futzin' what in the world are you doing here? you think it's too expensive, everybody gets it already...
wait and buy a used one or be disappointed when the new Bronco is $50k.
p.s. my tinfoil hat theory. Jeep has a surplus of parts or...
I'd like to make a trip sometime, but can't this weekend.
how's Prentice Cooper? I've heard it's boring in a SXS, but I will probably really like boring in my truck. I want to use the 4wd, but don't want to land on everything I come across or have water in the floor.
@Zacfrac wish I could find a Mopar local for a decent price, I'd jump all over it.
I can get Rugged Ridge and winches pretty cheap, probably less than a Mopar, but just don't want to add that much weight to the front. trying to keep it as light as possible, figuring around 150-175lbs...
has anyone weighed some of these bumpers?
I'm really leaning toward the Mopar Stubby or Rugged Ridge Arcus, just for the simpleness of the looks. I really don't want / need a winch and want something as light as possible. so right now the Mopar is winning unless I could figure out how to...
I'm not a big fan of the side panels personally and it looks very busy / over the top on a relatively stock truck. they did get the center section right though, like how it's clean and simple.
yea, 17*8.5. 4.75 BS with 0 offset. good fitment, just personally like a 9" a little better especially with a 37"+.
I think they'll look great on a "overland" style build, kind of wish I was brave enough to pull it off.
