I forgot to ask you⦠Iāll be buying the same grommet you used, but does that original firewall plug knock out or unscrew? I havenāt gotten around to installing just yet, but plan to do so in a week or so.
Iāve read many post with guys swearing that the recommend 0-20 oil is best. However, Iām wondering if anyone here adds the LUCAS oil treatment to their gladiator. Iām skeptical of adding it as it will affect viscosity. But would like some feedback. The reason Iām even thinking about it is...
I don't really know myself, but a guy on a YouTube video did a comparison and said the cooler on the plain Jane gladiator, without the tow package, has the same trans cooler as the one with. He also said all you really need is the heavier duty Cooling fan... just what I saw. Perhaps someone...
This oil filter adapter gets some good reviews, but Iāve seen them installed on older jeeps. Seems to be a good idea, however, Iām not sure how it would affect the warranty on a new Gladiator. Also, not sure how the securing mechanism would damage the plastic threads on the oil cooler. Your...
I donāt have a stubby antenna, so I was curious. I have several antennas for GMRS and VHF/UHF in NMO mobile mount, some dual band and some non ground plane. I had them mount onto a lip mount on the car I just sold, but also use them on my other Ford truck with a lip mount. Now that I have a...
Nice setup. Thanks for posting. That's the nice thing about the Midland Radios... you can hide the main unit anywhere and control everything from the mic. I have a 25 watt RETEVIS GMRS/VHF that I pulled out of my car when I bought the Gladiator. However, I'll have to place it where I can see...
As a side note, PPE makes cooling oil pan that holds an additional quart of fluid. You must, however, run the vehicle while pumping in the fluid and follow a certain procedure...
I'm sure a few of you have installed your radios in your gladiator. I just got my Nighthawk a few days ago and haven't had a chance to give this much thought. Anyone here have pictures and installation advice you may want to share?
I didn't want to hassle with wiring and removing my 12v connection, so I opted for the Curt 51180 Echo... a blu tooth phone controlled brake controller.

With respect to losing a connection, you are correct. It will hold the last setting per the advertisement. . However, that is my easiest solution and I'm willing to work around that.
This appears to be the same transmission cooler right above my AC condenser. Is this the same Trans Cooler supplied with the standard Tow Package? Or is there a larger one? Thanks...
I purchased mine in Wyoming, a 4 hr drive away from home. My local dealerās didnāt have Nighthawks in stock. I would not want to hassle returning it. I do like the truck and Iām willing to make a few minor adjustments. However, it would have been easier if the dealer would have cooperated...
