I had a set of Airlift 1000 bags on the back of my Ram 1500, also used a WDH for my RV. I will be putting a set of airbags in the Gladiator at some point as well. The bags help, but they do not really distribute the weight, a heavier trailer will benefit greatly from a hitch.
Sport S (no max tow), only thing I have done so far are wheels and tires from a 2019 JL Rubi and a Tazr Lite. I have the Daystar 1.5 inch spacers in the garage waiting...
FedEx dropped off my spacers, and I discovered my jack stands are too short to get enough axle drop. Picking up some new stands tomorrow, but probably be at least a week before I get enough time to put her up in the air again.
sitting here, waiting on FedEx to drop off my daystar 1.5 spacers.... hoping they get here in enough time to install before my wife gets home from work!
Problem solved... There are no sensors. The guy I bought them from swapped them to his new wheels, and swears he didn't post the facebook ad, somebody else did it for him. Glad I still have my stockers to pull from.
Thats what I was afraid of, going to run by Discount Tire tomorrow on the way to work and see if they can reset the sensors. If that doesn't work I will have to throw my originals back on to make sure its a sensor issue before I put new sensors in the Rubi wheels.
Just put a set of wheels and tires from a JL on my JT, no issues until about 15 miles in when my TPMS warning flashes up and says its unable to detect pressure. Any ideas? Going to put the factories back on tomorrow and see what happens, but shouldn't the sensors from a 99 work?
I have the Daystar 1.5 level coming in this week, probably throw it on Thursday... Saw some pictures of yours on here and it convinced me to go ahead and order the level.
It is deceptively simple, let me see if I can find the "how to" I posted on a Ram forum....
Found it...
