  1. SB50 Powerpole Connector for trailer, where are you mounting?

Would be great to find an Anderson bulkhead with a cover. Im going to be running an sb120 connector and will probably just leave it hanging near the spare as I would want a cover (which are available for loose connectors).
  2. Mopar Performance Rock rail guys

Did you have to trim the rails or the rok blokz? Would it just be additional trimming as opposed to the slots in the flaps for the original rails, do you think??
  3. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Rear axle is 1790 kg. Front is 1370.
  4. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

I didn’t bother installing the fronts. It’s level with the TF Outback’s out front. I’ll drive it for awhile and see if I feel like doing the front swap, as well. I guess I’ll make sure to have spacers on hand if I do. Feeling a little tired after 3 sets of coils in as many weeks so I’m going...
  5. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Just a quick final followup. AEV HC 3” coils on their own netted very close to the same lift as TF Outback HD 3.5” WITH the 2.75” in spacers. A little perspective in play in the photos, but they’re pretty darn straight and looking much better. The simple solution is by far the best. I didn’t...
  6. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

22” tip to tip (not sure how they normally measure unpsrung length). Will get more Monday
  7. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

AEV HD’s have landed. They’re progressives, so I was mistaken calling them linears. Will have a go at it next week and report back with photos.
  8. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

I wonder if the linear nature would equate to less extension and flex… I’d think so.
  9. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Definitely no triple rate labelled on the coil. I guess too much weight, as it squats badly without a spacer of any sort in there. if you include the weight of the spare, smartcap (stainless rather than aluminum), Bedslide and a 69quart fridge it adds up. Certainly nothing outrageous for an...
  10. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Clayton’s HD are 400lb just like the TF Outback’s that don’t work for me. Only diff is Clayton is triple rate. TF is dual. Unless that mid zone on the Clayton’s makes a diff. Unsure.
  11. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Not really. When it’s setup properly there are retainers to hold the coil at the top and bottom. With the thick spacer there it’s still not in place.
  12. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Yep. I can do a TF 4.5 but fully expect it to be a failure. Clayton is a maybe at 3.5” but triple rate. The others are 3” but linear and crazy rates. Aev 400-700 and dobinsons 400-650 and 800-1200 or something - for massive builds.
  13. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Nice! Thanks for that. The only issue I have with AEV is I need to buy all 4. My front end is fine 🙃
  14. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Maybe. But they’ll still be collapsing if they’re not the right spring rate. The true HD’s look like they’re all linear.
  15. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Clearly not the solution. This is as temporary as possible. Looking into Clayton (but they appear to be the same 400lb rating as TF Outback but with a third progressive zone), AEV and Dobinsons (both linear). I’m hoping the next set of coils I purchase is the last. A little curious about the...

Airbags are an ongoing issue in Canada. They eventually crack and need replacement. Also a challenge to find the right fit for aftermarket coils. I just pulled the oem springs with airbags to do a proper lift.
  17. Teraflex Sport ST3 3.5"

What rear coils are you using with your heavier rig, and do you still need any spacers along with said coil?? I ask, as the TF Outbacks are still too soft and are 85% compressed on my gladiator with canopy, bedslide, fridge, ….
  18. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

Not a bad idea. I’ll look around for some scales locally.
  19. Teraflex 3.5” ST3 Extended Travel Lift coil issues.

You are not. The coil compressed too much, and the advertised 3.5” isn’t valid. We added 2.75” of spacers in addition to this compressed coil to get back to where things look appropriate.
