I replaced factory with Quake LED fender chop. Lights work fine and are in need of a good home. I'm also replacing the factory LED tail lights so those will be available as well soon.
Asking $120 for the fender LED lights and $350 for both rear LED tail lights. Willing to ship, but would prefer...
I'm having the same issue as @BrunoMiranda . Called the site to order with the JT Forum discount but was told there would now be a 4-6 week delay for forum orders.
Good to know. I already have the Tazer and have made appropriate adjustments for my tires and re-gear (37s/5.13). It didn't occur to me that there would be a separate map for the trans that would need to be tweaked. Figured the computer would see the gear/tire changes made by the Tazer and...
Dave, thank you so much for the effort you are putting into helping all of us find a solution for the drivability issues. I, personally, am quite grateful, and I haven't even ordered an SC yet. With the tools you have, would you be able to make adjustments incorporating changes to gear and tire...
I replaced the rubi rails with RSE, and need to unload the old ones. Never been abused off-road so no damage. Asking $200 obo since that seems to be the going rate. I won't be shipping these, but willing to take a shot drive to meet. I'm in 78704.
Finally replaced the stock rock rails with the overly complicated and expensive RSE ones. Asking $200 as that seems to be the going rate on here, but I'm willing to negotiate. I'm in south Austin (78704) and would be willing to drive up to 50 miles to meet, but won't be shipping them.
Personally, I'd prefer a tapered rack to more closely match cab lines. This would add to structural rigidity as it's slightly more triangulated (weak rationalization, I know, as gussets could be added). It's also esthetically less hideous to look at.... If the bottom rails (?) that attach to bed...
So far, your design is looking quite good. Have you considered adding any fore/aft bracing to provide triangulation for structural stability? I suppose bolting on those molle panels would do this, just curious how this could be attained without the panels.
I tight fit is always best as it will minimize slop that can lead to failure and just garbage fitment. Aluminum is workable enough that a snug fit can be massaged a bit with either a minimal amount of heat or simply the use of some emory cloth the provide additional clearance. Also, would it be...
I’m still very happy with the 5.13s. Currently, my average MPG has increased to 16.5 which is considerably better than it was with 4.10s. Go with the 5.13s, you won’t be disappointed.
I decided on the 5.13s for mine and am quite happy with the results so far. I have the auto and 37s (36.8"). If I decide to move up to 38s next time, I'll still be good with the set up. During lower speed cruising (45-60), she runs up to eighth gear fairly quick and just stays there as long as...
You are right on. She seems quite content with the new gears and RPM range. This was about 100 miles after install. The MPG average had been around 12.6 with the 4.11 gears. I just hit 1100 miles and average is now around 14.8. If I actually drove more, it would probably be higher, but it'll get...
