I’ll know how I like it more after the 500 miles & swap the gear oil. Right now I’m shifting into 2nd, 3rd, & 4th a lot earlier.
Can’t wait to ring this thing out.
How are you going to handle the MT recall now that the Centerforce is installed?
Only asking because I’m in a similar situation. Just reageared to 4.88 on 35’s with the Centerforce in my garage.
Just got my JTR regeared. Went with 4.88’s the shop uses revolution gears. Master overhaul kits, gears, & labor. Final cost was $1,650 out the door. Still in the 500 mile break in phase.
Right now I have the 315 Kenda Walmart specials. Not looking to put on anything bigger. I love having a manual transmission, but it can be underwhelming at times.
Just dropped off SandyGirl to get regeared.
I’ve been planning a Regear for almost 3 years now. Bought my first JT in 2021 a Sport S with 3.73’s on a 6 speed. It struggled going up hill especially loaded with camping gear. Was going to get it done then, when rumors of Gobi making a comeback for...
I have no issues with the Gladiatorr seats. Drove to Colorado & back last summer, neither my girl or I had any issues. Those three categories are a draw for me.
I have a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon & a 2023 Bronco Outer Banks, both have cloth interiors.
The Bronco has several advantages, the interior is not one of them. Digital RPM’s on the instrument cluster is abysmal, infotainment screen & stereo are much better on the Jeep. Manual transfer case & parking...
Try Globex in Tom’s River. They will be installing my Centerforce clutch when the time comes. Bringing in my Gladiator for a re gear in two weeks, got a great quote on that. These guys are real Jeepers & look forward to the work.
I need this recall to commence already & get it done, whatever it is. My Centerforce clutch is collecting dust in my garage, it will be installed promptly after the recall fix.
