honesty was not particularly hard. It’s MUCH easier when it’s a full separate piece vs blending. It was all rattle cans. The hood is not totally closing all of the way so we may need to remove a little material somewhere.
Since we wheel in dusty areas a lot, we purchased the AmFib snorkel for our shop Rubicon XR.
I wanted the replacement panel to color match and not be black, so I rattle caned it with primer, then Anvil, then used 2k clear out of a can.
paint went down well, I think it turned out great! 👍
Hi All,
As we are getting closer to Spring release, we are compiling an interest list for the initial production run.
You can add your info on our website here: https://nxtgenautomotive.com/xterrain-steps-for-wrangler-gladiator-factory-rock-slider-rails
You won't receive any other promo...
We posted an introduction to announce the product while in development several months ago in our vendor section. Our pictures and videos are currently using the pre-production test mule, but we are getting close to the official launch, which we are estimating is April. We will update with new...
@Bowser-II
Here is the website page: https://nxtgenautomotive.com/xterrain-steps-for-wrangler-gladiator-factory-rock-slider-rails
Production of all of the custom molds for the step portions, hardware and packaging are in progress ✌🏼
Not really applicable to current Jeep models but wanted to share examples of some current makes and models that still have pretty stringent break-in procedures.
In the current G8x generation it is actually a big misconception, even among many service advisors that BMW limits power. We make...
Not 100% true, but true for most vehicles.
Our shop M4 was purchased brand new and it came with a special break-in oil in both the engine and the differentials, it’s AWD so front and rear.
Beyond the few BMW M cars, Porsches and some other performance vehicles still do come with break-in oil...
We have a set of high-quality steps in production for the factory rails: https://nxtgenautomotive.com/xterrain-steps-for-wrangler-gladiator-factory-rock-slider-rails
If you want to wheel a lot, the Jeep will shine. I was asking mostly in relation to the factory sliders. If you are not mostly wheeling where there are a lot of rocks or boulders, they are actually pretty decent quality. The steel itself is good, and so is the coating (it is excellent). The...
First thing we threw on our Rubicon was a set of our Extended View custom spotter mirrors.
They are designed to go on top or bottom, based on preference and if you have factory blind spot monitoring.
When we moved to the Gladiator from previous 1500 and 2500 trucks, the mirror visibility and...

Yikes, this went off the rails so to speak 🫣
I genuinely and sincerely never ever meant to or intended to come off that way. If I came off like a jerk whatsoever, if it seemed like I was putting anything or anyone down, that is the furthest thing from what I was trying to...
@RudeJeepin I wasn’t trying to cram anything down anyone’s throat.
I was genuinely curious why he was seemingly against one style vs another and then gave hard facts and data based on a lot of R&D.
The goal was to help make an informed decision, which was likely not our product.
The...
We’re enthusiasts not sales people.
If you genuinely don’t want to remove any sort of product when going off road, that’s probably a better solution for you.
Especially if the step function is not a major priority. Those aren’t necessarily a great step, but it’ll get you up there!!

@Jerhemi
One other important point I failed to add, but an important one.
As first mentioned, we started initially with a design like you're asking about. When we switched to the drop down in April, we had a very similar connection style to IAG on our initial testers, where it partially went...
Makes sense!
Our step isn't really a short person step, it will give the same access to the roof as any other running board or step product.
In regard to offroading, from a purely mathematical and engineering standpoint, I don't believe your thought process is totally accurate.
That is also...
Having options and choices is good for everyone!
We were just curious why you seemed to dislike the drop down style so much, given it is a superior step and easily removable?
We're not trying to change your mind, just genuinely curious about your personal opinion and preference.
@Jerhemi We actually started with that concept and went with the drop down. When we first started looking into this over a year ago, AR was still making a very costly, yet similar style to IAG. Feedback seemed mixed (see below) but it was the only option.
The style you posted is vastly and I...
