This past weekend we went to Hidden Falls Adventure park out of Austin and put the Gladiator through its paces. We had a great time and even earned a badge. We did two runs, one in the early afternoon and one in the evening. For the second run we took the doors off and locked them up near...
Too funny, I'm also in Houston. In June we went to Colorado Springs. I'm on 37s. the Jeep ran just fine, straight and ran cool. BUT - the gas mileage was horrific. I never saw 8th gear even on log straights. Even 7th gear was rarely seen.
I recommend a re-gear if you do long trips...
Having never owned a vehicle with push button start, I cannot tell you how many times I have left my keys in the dash overnight. I will get my Jeep stolen one day, its just a matter of time.
sorry to reply so late, I see everyone already answered but for what its worth, yes, i have done the same and left it out in the rain. it does say that if your expecting heavy rain to use something to prop the middle of it as it will pool.
I mean, you don't...
until you do.
I had 35's on my Wrangler. Big Meaty Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar tires. They looked great and ran fine until I got a flat. luckily I did get the 5th wheel and I was back on my way in about 35 min. If I hadn't had that spare, who knows how long it would...
ooh, great question. I honestly don't know. after install I honestly never went back to look at them. I think at this point it would be hard to see with out disassembly but Ill take a look at what I can see..
I'm sure others have done this, not sure why no replies.
I'm saving up. I need 4.88 gearing. I don't want to do it until I have some ARB lockers ready to go in. I don't want to do that until I have my ARB compressor installed, I don't want to do that until I have the funds ready to go, I...
that's correct. I'm not sure if you could have them work both ways (on then get brighter with breaks) but it would be interesting if you can.
if you find a work around, you let me know.
No but I know I'm pushing my luck. it seems they wont get you for that alone unless you catch them on a bad day. But get dinged for anything else and you know thats going on the ticket as well.
I have the mounting bracket and had it up for a while, but it was getting in the way on the winch...
All the advice on here is solid. The only thing I want to throw into the mix is that, as you mentioned, these are expensive enough as it is, why do you need a Rubicon if you say your not going to be doing tails. The Sport S is extremely capable (its also a 4x4) and more affordable. I would...
you make it sounds as if this 4K is the last bit of money you will ever invest in this truck when EVERY SINGE PERSON on this thread knows damn well it will not end there lol.
Do it bit by bit. when you can afford the next step, you take it. then at the next opportunity, do the the next...
If I know for a fact that its not going to rain, I leave it open. nothing inside worth stealing. But I did just get this nifty cover and tried it last night for the first time. I have yet to go check on it this morning but If I find any surprises, Ill let you know. its supposed to rain...
