Day 2 in I status. Now I am starting to freak out that I will be stuck in it for 30 plus days too.
Areti (10/23/2019, 4:01:45 PM): Your Gladiator has been built and is pending inspections, Bryan. The status code is I.
Me (10/23/2019, 4:03:06 PM): ok thanks. It went into that yesterday, and I...
I just can't imagine that Jeep would have 2 colors this close together in look, if this is truly a Gator. Seems ridiculous that they wouldn't go a few more shades towards green in it.
I could understand that better than the leather versus cloth. But I am plenty sure I had already selected Rubicon for the seat cover selector, and then it asked plastic or cloth backrest.
I hope it is a Rubicon thing...I like the look of it.
So I have a question about this. What stipulates the plastic backrest versus a material one? Is it just the leather seats that get the plastic?
I didn't even know this was a thing till I started looking for seat covers for my ordered Gladiator, and they asked this question.
Just found out my build is now in I status (final inspection)...it was a nice surprise. Here is hoping it speeds through everything else. :fingerscrossed:
This is what they sent me:
Below are the parts we recommend for the LLOD fitment on your truck. You will receive two 56" long load bars, two pairs of 6" legs and a pair of track that is 55" long, which you will have to cut into pieces and drill out to match your cover.
These parts will not...
Will do, once I'm home this evening. They don't have a package for this build yet. I had to email them, and tell them I wanted the "last line of defense" system. Then I had to give them the bed measurements, and they gave me the part numbers I needed. Since it is just parts there won't be...
Anyone with a body colored top get an estimated build or ship date yet?
Every time I contacted Jeep chat they have been unable to give me any kind of date, even though I am in D1. Just curious to any resemblance of a time frame for blue tops
I would think something like this would be the best solution. A hood over the light (between camera and light). To allow full light, but eliminate direct light glare to the camera. Just and example of what I mean.
I like this system by FrontRunner. I had the parts priced out by them; for the sliding rails, short 6" uprights, and cross bars it was slightly over $400...to go on the Diamondback HD that I am planning to get. You do have to physically cut the slide rails (part mounted to the DB) yourself.
Yes if the tent is on the cross bars (or when anything goes across both bars). This would only be the case when camping or some other activities that involved using the cross bars.
If nothing is on the bars it can be opened...tail gate can always be opened.
