  1. 2023 Rubicon Spring and Shock Take Offs to a 2022 Altitude

I am also going to replace the stock tires with a Nokian tire that has served very well on the Liberty CRD's that I have. Also increase the tire size to the equivalent of what a Willys is delivered with. Tire change is going forward for sure. Changing to the Rubicon springs/shocks is still under...
  2. 2023 Rubicon Spring and Shock Take Offs to a 2022 Altitude

Thanks fore the input, much appreciated. However, I will point out that my Gladiator is an Altitude, not the high priced High Altitude. Really just an option package. Price point it is just bellow a Willys S. Really just wondered if the Rubicon springs would be a slightly higher rate to improve...
  3. 2023 Rubicon Spring and Shock Take Offs to a 2022 Altitude

New Gladiator owner here. Searched but cannot find a specific answer to my question. My new 2022 Gladiator Altitude will be used for daily transportation, some towing and winter driving. Not really into serious off-roading. i am picking up others removed components, rock rails for example to...
  4. Drop Hitch Recommendations

I have done that as well on my Liberty when I had to get an extended draw bar to clear the spare tire, but did not want it out any further than necessary to avoid excess leverage.
  5. Drop Hitch Recommendations

You could drill your own second hole. Just make sure it is in front of the original pin hole.
  6. Why does the owner's manual say no tow dollies?

I just checked U-Haul's site and the car trailer was available for the Gladiator, with a 2500 pickup as the tow vehicle. I recently trailered a '94 F150 approx. 1000 miles on a U-Haul car trailer and was impressed with how well it worked. I was towing with a Ram 2500 Cummins. Would not hesitate...
  7. Pulling 20' bowrider out at the boat ramp?

I pull a '89 Ski Nautique (about 4000# including trailer) with my '06 liberty CRD. No problem, I do utilize all wheel drive though. I will be using my Gladiator for the task this upcoming season and do not anticipate any issues.
