  1. Aftermarket grille options/fit

Also subbed for the same reasons. There’s a lot under hood to keep cool on these vehicles - I’d be quite reluctant to deviate from the grille which was engineered for this vehicle and its use cases.
  2. Waiting on the Bronco

You and I roll around the same town, and I completely agree. The only Colorado/Tacos I see are ZR2 and really built TRD's. I've seen several Rangers around town and they blend in completely with all other traffic.
  3. Wheels

I appreciate your analytical approach to these decisions. I inherited a bunch of ProComp parts on my YJ which were the choice of a prior owner, Never really had issues with anything but that Jeep was way more beater than anyone buying a JT will have for parts expectations
  4. Test drove a Rubicon in Colorado Springs today.

I looked at this truck yesterday (Saturday) as well since it's the first silver vehicle I've seen on the ground locally. One of the sales guys came over and in his second sentence informed us that they were asking full sticker on it, and that he wasn't sure whether people were being scared off...
  5. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

@SKT thanks for all the great pics you contribute to this and many other threads on the site. Much appreciated!!
  6. Pay your bills yo!

They need the PROBLEM | NO PROBLEM spare tire cover.
  7. Gladiator vs 2020 4Runner

A bed cap on a Gladiator will give far more cargo room than the 4Runner, so long as you're willing to put the dog back there and be comfortable that it's not in the vehicle's main cabin. Also think ahead 5-10 years when you want to take your kids out to ride dirt bikes... easy to toss into the...
  8. Possible bed problem with 4X8 plywood

Just like hi-capacity magazines... “Nobody *needs* that much”... :giggle:
  9. 35 TN tires with a 2inch lift or no lift

35’s will supposedly fit without any mods, even for spare stowage. So my plan is to get on 35’s and see whether I still need more clearance/break over when on the trails, and then go for a lift (most likely MOPAR 2”) to get that last bit of capability. I also prefer the look of a “stuffed” 35 on...
  10. Car And Driver - Gladiator vs Colorado vs Ranger vs Ridgeline

Thanks for the excellent post, as it saves me a lot of typing. :) My decision has always come down to JT vs ZR2. I don’t care for any of the drivetrain combinations offered for the ZR2 - the 8 speed shudders badly and the 4-pot baby D’max mated to the ancient 6 speed auto leaves a lot to be...
  11. 4 way out wrench

I carried a folding 4-way in my YJ. If you're okay with the sliding collars being used to hold the two folding parts in place, it makes packing into your rig *way* easier. I'd imagine it fits nicely under the rear seats when it is folded up
  12. Build timeline?

8-10 weeks is what my local dealer told me when I inquired about an ordered unit. YMMV based on dealer, timing, etc.
  13. Dimensions and garage fitment

I'll give $100 to anyone who will #fullsend their JT into the garage and rely on this to park it: Adaptive Cruise Control/Forward Collision Warning+ $795 INCLUDES: Advanced Brake Assist If inadequate force is applied to brakes in response to signal from Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning...
  14. Potential Diesel Buyer

Welcome to the forums! The last truck I owned was a '96 Dodge 2500 with the 12v Cummins. Great engine, crappy transmission. But I've always wanted a diesel truck again after that one, so I had a foot in the EcoDiesel camp when originally considering the Gladiator. Having thought more about it...
  15. looking for good trails with great scenery

I have found this site to be very useful for research into future trail runs. Lots of info about 4 corners trails :) https://www.trailsoffroad.com/
  16. Drove an Overland today

I also drove the red Overland at Faricy, on Saturday morning. There was a ton of side-hop from the rear when going over broken pavement. Makes me wonder if the tires are over-inflated. Didn't think to check TPS in the display. :( Overall I was very pleased with the truck. Agreed with comments...
  17. Anybody hoping for a shotgun/rifle storage

I can't help but wonder about the reduction in payload to accommodate an AR Pistol (nope, no SBR here!!) and 6x30rd. Magpul "clips" . :giggle:
  18. Manual Trans....what am I missing?

I do remember that little light. So easy to ignore... :giggle:
  19. I guess it was just a marketing ploy to gain attention

What a disappointment. The two year lease was nearly a no-brainer to me and my vehicle situation. 36 months is an entirely different proposition now. Ugh.
