Sounds good. JL and JT owners have been posting paint defects mostly on the doors, tailgates and hoods which were aluminum. Can tell by the picture but those defects look like bubbling under the paint. Ford owners also experienced the same poor paint prep.

It’s a well known paint defect on aluminum body parts. It is covered under warranty.

To the original poster, how’s that weather striping fix holding out? San Diego/OC is getting slammed again this year and I’m gonna try your fix.
