yeah, but then how could they justify selling the cargo package upgrade which actually has locking storage under the rear seats? I went with the cargo group for the rails and 110v but there are people out there selling the locking under rear seat storage and you can find some good deals on them.
Paying enough for a dealership to make a profit I do not have a problem with. I don’t typically even shoot for the lowest price or highest trade value like I used to years back. I understand needing to pay employees and keep the bills paid more today than I did when I was younger. But don’t be a...
That scam is called the dealer add game or addendum sticker. It is common for dealers to add cheap components for exorbitant prices. Like charging $300-$400 for tinting two side windows that a pro shop would do for $100-150 tops on a Jeep. Or the $200+ for a pinstripe that costs $10 and 30...
i bought my Gladiator at Hendrick only because it was the only one within a large radius that had the options I want and only after they wouldn’t transfer it to Gerry Wood. I would much rather have bought from Gerry Wood and saved another $1500-2000 without having to deal with the lying...
Kbb.com has a market price for new vehicles. They track that from high to low as it is a key metric they use in calculating resale values. Choose your options and you will be very aware of just how good you did
I have said nothing but watched this thread as it unfolded. I believe Larry has held his composure quite well throughout. Though I also believe for anyone to lay down a claim that the Gladiator frame is flawed or weak without knowing the full story is certainly indicating poor judgement and/or...
Ok, so I thought I would ask the Jeep veterans what do you call the various stages of getting naked in a Jeep. I have seen different levels and full on naked is rare since someone usually has a bikini top or sun shade on. But it could be fun to name the various stages. Here are a few ideas.
No...
With a 5 year warranty I am not too concerned about the Velcro and no more often than I will actually be rolling it up I am sure it will last a long time. My last cover I only opened up maybe 2-3 times a week. So over a 10 year span that is about 1200 openings and it is supposed to have a...
Thanks for the picture. I have not seen that option until now. But I am still not sure if anyone would be able to carry anything
large like a couch or a few sheets of plywood in the bed. Any spec on the bed size?
On another note, and more on par with the OP. I do think it is a cool looking...
Too me, the Bronco is an SUV not a truck. I need a bed because I do carry big things on occasion that wouldn’t fit in an SUV of any size. So the Bronco I feel is more aligned to compete with the standard 2 and 4 door Jeeps than the Gladiators.
Thank you for that insight. I ordered the rugged ridge one with the woven fabric. I have the cargo rails so it should work without issue. I read somewhere that they were working on brackets for those without the rails too. For anyone else looking at this particular cover be aware cargo rails are...
I think you will be very happy with them. They really have a great bass punch and get plenty loud. The small size does not equate to the huge sound they throw off.
I went with the Overland for the added few interior touches like leather dash. The employee discount on them now helped as well. I also didn’t really need the extra off-road capability that comes baked into the Rubi. I also drove the two and the Rubi felt a bit more floaty on the highway where...
I kind of wanted the speaker as well. Then I got a JBL Charge 4 and decided ya know what, this thing will fit nicely in that pocket and charges by a standard USB plug able cable and hold enough charge for 13 hours of playback. All while costing about $130. So, with the extra money saved I sure...
I had a tri-fold on my GMC that I traded for the Gladiator. I liked it but it didn’t flip completely up like the Bakflip does so make sure if you get a tri-fold it will flip up exposing the entire bed the same way as Joe’s. My GMC cover caused headaches whenever having to transport larger items...
