I would use a product we use in welding itās called OSPHO, Iām not sure how it works I believe itās something on a molecular scale, just wipe it on let it set overnight and then paint or whatever you choose.
You know I was going to check that out and I forgot, my helper (wife) was in a hurry to do something else, so I spaced it out until I read your post. UHG... I will be sure to follow up on this after I install the bumper.
So I received my (early) Christmas present today an Artec nighthawk front bumper and I was so impressed with the quality of the bumper I felt I must share it with everyone, first it arrived in about a week, packaged very well, but what really struck me are the welds, Iām a welder/smitty by trade...
yah Iām not very good at that clip art thing, (I touched it up a little) Iām going to put upward facing rock sliders on and I really was just thinking of covering just the area behind the bars from rock chips.
Update, I switch the grill to all black, I like it better, I would like to do a poll on which one people like better just for curiosity sake, if I can figure out how.
good to know I will keep an eye on it, I agree the long needle pines are the worst, I live over on the olympics side the port Townsend area we should hit the Belfair trails sometime.
so I decided to switch the grill to all black and it took me 1hr and 40sec its definitely easier the second time, I took some comparisons pictures, I definitely like the all black better.
