Too lazy to read the whole 24 page thread. Looks like everyone is running after market wheels...
I have a bone stock Rubiconand do like the wheels that came with it. Whats the size that will fit mine with no mods, cutting or rubbing? I do like the Wildpeak 33s and once it wears out, plan to go...
I'm in CA and gas/diesel prices is a moot point. As of yesterday, prem gas is $5/g and diesel is $4.87 at my local Costco (which is where I fill up). I also found a truck stop 20 miles away that has both diesel/DEF at the pumps and it's like $4.50 so I'll try that the next time.
Not sure if its helpful but if its a repeatitive problem and Jeep can't address it, I'd engage corporate and opt for a lemon law buyout. I bought the Grand Cherokee years back when the 1st batch released with the new 8 speed tranny. It was nothing but a disaster. CEL on every month....multiple...
I've owned diesel over the years and modern diesel engines (coupled with emissions) is NOT like the old days where ya simply change oil at 10k miles and these things literally run for 300k.
Main thing with modern diesel engines (especially the emissions which is more likely to fail BEFORE the...
Nothing much but tons of Amazon stuff showed up at my door ;). Window visors, bed tray liner and Tyger bed cover (I ran the same brand on my Ford Ranger for 3 years and it performed flawlessly and was waterproof even in our winter storms).
Then drove out to my local Sushi joint for lunch...
I know....unfortunately (fortunately), I'm one of those "remote" IT/Healthcare engineers so work primarily from home and we use our IX for in-town/quick runs to Costco (home charging in the garage). The Glady will be for my camping/fishing trips and long runs down to the bay (my wife's family...
Celebrating one week of ownership today with a measly 200 miles..lol.
Here's my Ranger that went in for the trade (went positive in my loan so used that towards my down payment). Loved the Ranger but rear seats were too small and gas milege was just ok (20mpg combined but still better than...
Same here..I got the WP mud-terrain on mine as well and it's kinda noisy....the more milege I put on, the more noisy these will become.
I had General Grabber ATs on my now-traded-Ranger and 30k, it was rock solid and even after that much miles, the freeway noise was a lot minimal.
^^
Just in time since there's a 20% off for easter weekend!!

Did mine yesterday and love it...went with Auxito for headlights and "Alla" fogs which a lot of folks around here are already using with good results. Very happy with the light output. No flickering, etc and 100% plug-n-play.
LOW BEAM
So far, its been short intown trips so I think thats why ...a lot of stop-n-go. I work from home so really haven't taken this on longer road trips yet. But I've noticed its getting better. I'm averaging around 20mpg as of last night (same street driving).
On a side note, had a Tacoma guy...
Took mine to a local Jeep shop and had them replace the halogen with LED bulbs
For headlights, I went with this.

^ I know ...I moved here from San Bruno 20 years ago. When I moved here, my bay area families and friends were telling me that I'll move back in 5 years as its nothing but cow country and I'll be bored ...a) either by lack of people b) 110 degrees summer.
Fast forward to now and they all come...
Hmmm... no issues on my week old '23 oil burner. It comes on in the dashboard as well (that "A" icon lights up). I just drove today to get my halogen bulbs replaced at a local Jeep shop and the auto start kicked in several times (according to the dashboard icon).
Didn't they also change the shocks on the '23 onwards..no longer Fox? But the new shocks are more 'street' friendly. I bought the exact same setup last week for $49k after haggling it down. I love mine as well and planning to keep this around at least 100k (unless diesel emissions choke on me).
Hi all
Still in honeymoon with my oil burner but already getting "complaints" from my wife and mom (elderly). My now-traded Ford Ranger had the side steps and it was super handy for shorter people (mind ya, I never call my wife "short"..lol). I have a friend who does fabrication and he said if...
Only got like 200 miles on mine right now and engine still breaking in. Getting around 19mpg. Am I to expect this to get better as the engine gets broken in?
Bone stock on 33s MT WildPeaks that came with the truck. But loving it so far. Don't have any plans on lift etc as one of the reasons why...
Still in honeymoon with my oil burner. Nothing much but the following on order:
1) Tyger bed cover (ran this on my Ford Ranger for 3 years and it was rock solid and totally waterproof and let me store tons of my fishing/camping gear!)...
