I know, I should of put a spacer and kept them for towing.
At the time I didn't know I was going to get an RV. Wanted the lift and shocks ($300) to make it look good.
Bought the max tow for the 4.10s and wider axles.
At a couple of points I was in 3th gear and around 45mph max. A bit of a struggle. 50 more # of torque would of been nice.
Braking is amazing on this truck plus had trailer brakes. No issues there.

Had the same experience. Towed very well. Could of used 50 more horses. Wind kills it but cooling is well set up. Was towing around 5000# while traveling . 5400 # with water. Crossed many over 12000 ft passes. Around 2400 miles. Was getting 11 mpg until we hit the winds for over 900 miles. 8.2...
KZ 180 toy hauler. Putting my KTM, wife and dog in.. Getting out of Austin and headed to the mountains.
Need to adjust the hitch a bit for less squat.
It's the max tow with Rubicon bits.
I haven't found anything better than OnX Offroad. They have a 7 day trial. Went on a trip to an area Ive been to 7 times and it showed me new stuff.
Going to use it in CO in a couple of weeks.
