got her done (ARB Safari Snorkel) today. It was 16 degrees outside - damn that is cold. At least it was sunny.
my next house will be in the country with a heated garage!
I’m 3 holes away from stage 1 of my build. Not even sure what stage 2 is??
The final item installed is my ARB safari snorkel. I just have to mount it to the windshield Frame tomorrow and secure the top.
Rest of build:
ARB Bondi full width
Warn VR10 w/syn
ARB Solis spot and flood combo
ARB...
Not a review but damn. Just ran the Toyo’s AT III 35x12.5r17 E rated 800 miles today on the interstate from Milwaukee to KC.
what a smooth and quiet tire that track straight as an arrow.
It took me a bit for dial-in the PSI. I’m running them 28 PSI cold and ran hot at 32.
smooth compliant and...
agreed and thanks
I was referencing the initial post comparing the 11.5 inch toyos C rated vs the E rated 12.5’s
The 12.5s do measure slightly narrower than the 315’s
Well I followed none of the great advice. Not because I didn’t believe you but rather out of convenience.
So I got the 35x12.5 r17’s E rated.
I’m sure the C’s would be plush but the ones I got are narrower than the 315’s and ride so much quieter.
50 mile street verdict is an A.
granted I...
All - I have an ARB Safari snorkel located in Milwaukee, WI
I never installedit as I changed directions in my build. Now it’s taking up room in my garage.
here is a link from Northridge for the specs.

They are a bit...
As with changing rims, I already own them. They worked great for 315/70/17s.
I maybe better off selling everything and starting over.
I may need to give AEV a call.
Ok - I’m ready to move in from my MTs. I realize my gladiator lives primarily in the street and dirt roads.
I’m moving to the Toyo AT III on a 17x9 rim with +01mm off set.
I don’t tow anything of significance either.
the question would you buy the:
35x12.5 x17 E rated
or
35x11.5 x17 C rated
Here is a set of 5 Falken Wildpeaks that have no plugs, gouges, broken treads etc. Asking $925 on the forum for all 5.
They are for a 17” rim and load range E. These are the equivalent of a 35” tire and look great on The Gladiator.
They are currently mounted as I’m waiting for my new tires to...
Here is my Sport with a hybrid solution that combines leveling, rubicon suspension and rubicon flares.
I’m happy with the way it looks but am considering 37’s (but don’t want to re-gear - currently running 4:10’s)
the cost isn’t cheap but likely better than the Mopar plus all the bits you need...
So happy for these. I’ve been holding out using only the atv style mirrors that are terrible and look stupid.
I’ve been out of town but they were delivered on Tuesday. Can’t wait to install them this weekend. It has so been worth the wait!
As for price. Idon’t think they are expensive at all...
You’ll love for all the reasons you described. In addition the ArB fit and finish is top notch.
I know I’ll end up dropping the coin on the rear too, I’m a bit of an ARB fan boy.
