Quick thought, im actually thinking about a sport Max tow. Basically he states the Rubi has Dana 44 with "wider" axles. So basically the max tow package on the sport gives you the 4.10 gearing and wider Dana 44's just like the Rubi comes with? Im in for that on a base sport and adding the...
I go back and forth on soft top or hard top, our JL has the hard top and removing the freedom panels is very easy and fun in the summer. We havent taken the entire roof off yet but it seems to be a pain without 2 people or a hoist. I think im going soft top with the JT for ease of on and off in...
I wonder how late these colors will be pushed off for, maybe for the relaunch of the diesel? Or just for the 2020 calendar year (2021) gladiator as in this time next year?
Getting a 45k truck for 41.5k isnt something crazy and isnt probably something I couldnt haggle myself. For the hype, dealers will be trying to sell at msrp but I really believe the Rubi will be the only model that they wont really budge much on. I have my subaru lease until 2020 so time will...
I hear you, I know I want to run the biggest setup on mostly stock components but realistically 35's would be plenty. I am looking to take a few longer trips throughout the year. Thank you for the input! :fist bump:
I agree my fiances JL switches and knobs are amazing. Uconnect is very fast and precise when you make selections. The stock speakers are outstanding, and the seats and sterring wheel are also very comfortable. The doors are solid and sound like they vaccume shut [solid]. For a truck that is...
I appreciate his design! No 2 JT's will look alike anyway with the aftermarket. Thats what WE love about the Jeep Wrangler. He has given us a clean design to sculpt to our liking.
Having wider axles for the max tow package would give you more backspacing for larger wider wheels basically? 4.10 gearing is the main reason id go with this package from the dealer for larger tires.
Thanks for the reply, I've driven manual trans for the past 7 years in cars, I figured the extra gearing in the auto would make it decent on the highway tho, i know a few jls that have 37s reportedly getting 17 mpg highway.
I really want to run 37's on 4.10 gearing (max tow) with the new 8 speed, I hope its not ridiculous on the highway tho as far as gearing. Obviously the mpg will suffer, and it may feel sluggish off the line. Whats your experience with the jk?
Anyone else wish they did a Ram box type storage in the bed? Just thinking out loud but the ability to store some tools without giving up bed or rear seat storage comes to mind. Also would be cool to throw a 30 in there to stay cold during tailgating or camping;).
Im being lazy but is the gladiator bed basically the same as all the other midsized pickups? Might need a full size truck to fit a full size quad w/o some modifications. I like dirt bikes anyway :)
I personally have always had black cars, the gator being darker hopefully is my transition from black to a new color lol Black looks soo good clean for all of 10 min of driving. No matter how careful I was with washing and waxing I always came up with swirl marks over time, which really ticked...
Perfect color for me as well, I love the gator color. Pays tribute to the wranglers military background and just looks badass imo. Now Manual or Auto:facepalm:
