  1. Factory 4.88 gears

Exactly and the lost productivity at changeovers on the line. Change overs on even the same exact model were always the biggest hang-ups to make sure that all the parts that were needed to run that lot were on the line. It has been some time since I worked in an auto plant, I wonder how they...
  2. Kicker Ksc40 4in replacements in the sound bar.

I put the infinity in the dash and forgot the polyfill. Think I am going to take it out and add some. Seeing that the kickers fit is tempting. I was debating on what to try there. Was thinking about trying to add more infinitys or try to make some JL Audios fit. Not so much that I need...
  3. I Suck!

I had something similar happen with someone. I was headed to the beach with my paddleboards in the bed with a bed extender. One of the cam straps came a bit loose and so on the road to the beach I slowed down and was doing the 25 MPH speed limit to make sure nothing got jostled as there is no...
  4. Shift pod tent

Read about some of the issues that people have had with them. Some of it may be user error and/or expecting too much from the tent . I kicked the idea of getting one of them around pre-jeep and ended up decided against it. Given the gladiator, I am glad I did.
  5. Jeep gives you nothing but heaches...

As a first gen college attendee, grad, and .... who also used to work on the line at an automotive plant, I have all the thoughts on the school topics. But... there is no fun in any of that. I bet the headaches were caused by Earl. OMG. You know Earl. Second shift guy, works on the line...
  6. Speaker swap

Infinities are in the front dash and I drove a bit this weekend with them with the top down on the highway. I do understand what people mean with how "bright" they are. For the music i listen to, it needs to be brighter than stock but maybe not as bright as it is right now. (I listen to a lot...
  7. Speaker swap

I found a couple places that said they had them... but i was suspicious since no one else actually had them. After doing some of the sound tests on the Crutchfeld, crazy threads on Wrangler forums, and watching yourtube videos, I ended up going with the Infinity speakers for the dash corners...
  8. Confession

I knew adults from New Jersey that had never put gas into their own cars. Combine that with people from Manhattan that have never driven and well....
  9. Speaker swap

Which 4's did you go with for the soundbar? I was trying to match the 3.5 in the dash and the soundbar with the 4's (Kicker KS Series) and the Crutchfeld says the 3.5's won't fit in the soundbar but I cannot quite figure out the reason.
  10. New to jeep 35 or 37’s

Depends on the look you are going for. I prefer 37s as to my eye it balances out the rest of the truck.
  11. JEEP GLADIATOR BEDRUG GROUP BUY

Any insight you can provide on the installation with the bedrails would be much appreciated. That really is the only area that is giving me a pause.
  12. Bestop's Big One Rebates are back!

Can vouch. Not even IDA slowed my shipment down. Got installed it Friday night so I could enjoy it for the holiday weekend! So glad I finally pulled the trigger. Thanks guys!
  13. Voided warranty due to gears

My guess... The time it take to get paid for warranty work doesn't solve the immediate cash flow issues.
  14. JEEP GLADIATOR BEDRUG GROUP BUY

How has everyone addressed the rail system? Trimmed the rug shorter or reinstalled the rails over the rug?
  15. BillieBars Bed Bars - Are they right for your Gladiator?

Hi Everyone. Before I ordered a set of BillieBars, I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas. My primary purpose for the BillieBars to provide another level in the bed to transport a paddleboard. I used PVC, marine foam and carpet to build "bunks" for the bed for my kayak or paddleboard...
  16. Side steps compatible with Factory Rock Rails?

Materials and the logistics associated therewith are insane right now. Throw in potential labor issues...
  17. Keeping rocks from wedging in gap between fender and body…

I grabbed the .276. I will say that I cannot imagine using anything smaller. At times, even that seemed too small to properly tuck into the gap, but on on a couple places it seemed a bit too much (but I could however, make it work with a couple tries).
  18. What do u have coming in the mail?

Thanks. I watched the video and it seemed straight forward -- other than having to grind off that portion for the Mojave. Now to ponder the eternal questions, do I need it and do I want to deal with installing it. LOL
