I have no prior experience, as have not owned a truck before. but as prior poster mentioned, one con is beating up of paint / slippage, I can see that. but as mentioned, a layer of plasti dip likely to mitigate that. what are other cons of drop in liner for this newbie to trucks.

a little plasti dip base coat can help with that?
