Depends on what service is most used in your area. Jeep clubs down here where I live use GMRS. Other areas might use CB. Radio comms are cool but for true emergency preparedness I’d go with a Starlink mini on the standby plan or an iPhone or T-Mobile phone. Satellite communication tech is cheap...

I haven’t read the whole thread but is a refund for the ill-fitting part not an option you were given?

I basically used another users gun rack idea but didn't mount the gun clamps and flipped the bar to make the dish fit tighter. I had to cut the ends to make some ears because the bar would't fit above the roll bar without doing so. That might be because of the headliner though. see post 7...

lol people in this thread are complaining about aux switch placement and you want them to reach back and try to find the rear window switches? and yes, some vehicle rely on the front switches for all windows to work.

the explanation is you don't have to wait until it gets to 600 rpm. you'll be alright.

the other issue is some people leave the rear doors on and take the front doors off. If the switches were on the front doors instead of the dash how would they control the rear windows?

Most of these jeeps won’t be on the road by the time that happens. Stallantis “quality” will do them in long before.
