I'm curious, did you try using the mounts that come with that system or did you go straight to the ram mount pieces? If you did use the og pieces what was your opinion on those?
Hmmmm......I knicked mine a bit on the way out of the stock fob. Trying not to destroy either the fob or the chip! Should've just worried about the chip. I need to check it following your directions here and see if it is OK. I am currently not experiencing any issues.
There is a short video he has made that shows you step by step how to disassemble the og and move it over to the new sized fob. Very simple to do. Using the beta fob has been a ton better than the og fob!
I switched out mine last night, it could definately be reversed. I think the only hard part to that would be possibly getting the spring in to hold the switchblade key. It would just take a moment of patience, probably not "hard".
Received my beta fob yesterday in the mail. Laid out my back up gladiator fob, my current loaner Cherokee fob, and the new DILab fob for comparison. I can't wait to get my truck back hopefully on Monday and start using this little guy. I need to tear apart my large fob and get the inside...
That angle there shows how much smaller you got it very well! I can't wait to receive one. Although I am still waiting on my truck to come back home. Stupid Cherokee loaner car, lol.
That's great news for you! I was looking at the grapplers but in a 35 when I go to upgrade. I am Curious how they do on road and off? Mainly on road. It is my daily and i travel a minimum of 35 miles a day.
