Your needs - pick the truck that fits to you. I personally don't need a hemi.
I looked at Ram Rebel when shopped - as love that truck. But actually found it too big for my needs and not having the fun factor looking for in a lifestyle vehicle like Jeep. But love the truck and love the Hemi...
Took less then 30 minutes to cool down below 30 degrees set for.
Hooked to Yeti at 10:30am Eastern via DC.
I'm going to open the lid during the day every hour or so to simulate real use (which should be more than normal as there is no food in it to keep it more to temperature).
I'm curious how long my CFF35 with run on my year and a half old Yeti 400 actually.
Pre-chilling now and then I will hook to the Yeti.
And for those looking for cooler that fits perfect in the gladiator bed with a top .... highly recommend the CFF35. Same as the CFX35 without bells and...
IN this thread TennesseePA has been testing his Dometic 95DX (even larger) and with temperatures in his garage in the mid-80s has been pulling 13 ah off battery every 24 hours (after initial cooldown - which normally people would do under AC power).
So the Goal Zero 500X has 46.8 AH so in...
If I personally was going to buy another Goal Zero today it would be the 500x.
They fixed their voltage issues on these new lithiums and you save a ton of weight.
I have a Goalzero battery I put in between the plug in the rear and the Dometic. Therefore, the Goalzero keeps a full charge while I'm driving and then when truck is turned off it will run the Dometic for 48hours without power from the bed. Makes it simple and don't have to worry about. I...
They are very solid. I like the look of them as well. The only complaint I see on them is where people want some that stick out a little more - a little more protection that way and also some like them to be able to be more of a step in.
I have the stock and don't plan on changing them any...
The rotopack is using the rotopax Toyota mount which mounts fine in the Jeep trail rail. See my post under what did you do to your gladiator for more info including need for a shorter screw then came with.
Added an SAE cord to my Aux 4 to plug random items into as needed. Labeled the inside Aux 4 with SAE with white print/clear label from my brother labeler. Label looks cleaner in person vs. the flash on the phone.
info factory vs. Line-X from Dodge forum:
"The factory (GFX) bedliner is about 60 to 65 mils on the floor. LINE-X should be about 125 mils on the floor"
"The Dodge factory bedliner is from Ultimate Linings and applied by a company called Ground Effects, Ltd. (GFX). In June of 2012, LINE-X...
it has a roughness - not sharp but if you were say sitting on your bare knees in the bed it wouldn't feel real comfortable - like being on a hard sand.
Some people I think like the softer slicker - as if you were hauling dirt or such I would think be easier to clean with the Rhino version...
I had heard GFX does them with similiar spray as Line-X - - just a little thinner version. I haven't seen anyone confirm if they do a scuff of paint prior to spray or and adhesion promoter that you see with factory beds (less preferred).
Overall - I think the consensus is that for the same...
