Nice rig, but hmmmmm. I just ordered BFG KO2 37x12.5 today for my Gladiator replacing my warranted Falken Wildpeaks. But seeing your picture those tires look smaller than my current Wildpeak 35s. Maybe its an optical illusion??? But generally when I see 37s on a Gladiator it is obvious they...
I put +11mm offset wheels on my Mojave and they are 8.5 inches wide. I don't like a lot of poke but I wanted more than the +25 that the AEV SALT wheels give. I put on 35x12.5R17 Falken Wildpeak Load range E just like the factory tires. I love the tires for traction and wear and durability. I...
If the axle is bent I'd think the control arm on that side was likely bent at one time also. I did this exact thing with my JT, I hit a pole with the tire while turning. Missed the bumper but bent the control arm and the axle. After replacing the control arm the Jeep drove the same as it did...
Used this on my wheel well trim which was looking bad with fading and whites spots. Amazing and very easy to apply. Well worth the price which at first seems expensive but one wipe did three wells and probably could have done the fourth but I started experimenting with other parts. Amazing stuff...
So will barebones bring the black fender trim and other black plastic parts back to life? Meaning make them a nice dark clean black again?
I see some of you coated those parts with ceramic when it was new and that has helped to keep it new looking?? I didn't do that and now I'm paying the price.
I'm assuming those of you with this mirror are very happy!!! A little concerned it will vibrate with that long mirror, I assume this is the reason CMM went with a nice simple smaller round mirror. I will do some more research and read the 852 reviews on Amazon before jumping but the price is...
That's an option, but I prefer the look of the winch behind the plastic bumper and the minimal weight of the plastic bumper. The warn winch plate is as stout as most stubby bumpers with just slightly less coverage. Works for me. YMMV
I was wheeling in Colorado this year and had my cap go missing. It was about the last day and we stopped to air up and I opened the hood and it was gone. Still had plenty of oil but it was all over the hood and engine. No idea how many days it was missing. I think someone messed with it at the...
Thanks for sharing, looks like some great fall weather. When you did the 37s did you regear? If not, any regrets while out wheeling? Looks like those are 13.5 wide tires correct? Thanks for the help!
To all you guys running 37s, did you go 12.5 or 13.5? I'm on 35s and ready to move to 37s, but trying to decide on the width I want. Two things I would do differently for any person out there wanting to make some decision/changes. I wish I would have gone 37s instead of 35s AND I wish I would...
Funny situation. Removed the AUX battery because I thought that was the one going bad. Jeep would not start (yes I was sure to remove the AUX from the circuit and not the MAIN). Replaced the MAIN battery and all is fine and working now. Thus, the AUX was the only thing keeping my JEEP alive for...
I know this is an old post but for others reading this. You don't have to drill mount the Rough Country panels, you can let them hang from the top mounts just like these pictured above. But mounting the bottom gives it so much more stability and I'm sure those pictured above would benefit from...
Here's a little variation on the platforms. Not using it for dogs, just gear when camping/off-roading. Raised it up so there would be more room under it to store gear. Used 1/2 plywood to keep it light and left the ends open to be able to put gear in. Covered with an indoor outdoor rug from...
I'd say I could remove my rear seat platform and put the rear seats back in, in about 15 minutes. It is actually quite easy. The hardest part is some (4) of the seat bolts have to be wrenched all the way in and out the others go in and out with no effort. And the seats are not really that heavy...
