Recent Gladiator buyer and Jeep convert. Found a Humvee Trailer local for a good price and have always wanted to build my own trailer. Does anyone have experience building and or just buying one and if so, how’s it working for you? I’ll not use it for anything too technical but will go off-road...

I'm thinking of rigging this up myself with some extruded aluminum rails (t-slot) that I have from an old FJ Cruiser project (yes, I used to be on the dark side....or is this the dark side?) and need to mount to the bed. Still looking at how I want to mount the rail but will certainly need M6...

With the aircraft versions, the hole spacing is 4”; will that work or must I drill holes in the rail and/or the truck bed. Really would like to avoid the latter tbh. Seems like I’ll already have to cut the 60” version anyway.
