Yeah, its a tad misleading as "winch ready" definitely implies that it is ready to install, just add winch. But unfortunately it still requires a winch plate to be able to bolt the winch onto it. There are several out there in the $150-300 range but some are better than others, just check...
Gotcha, yeah plastic ones can be found in the trash or along the road sides, lol..
Seriously though, the factory steel bumper IMO is a good deal. Not many other options out there that give you a choice of full width or stubby with only a few bolts and a finish that is probably unmatched in...
I'll take every factory steel bumper you can come up with for $150, they go for $500-750 used in my area.. The powder coating on my wife's hard rock bumper has held up better than the AEV powder coat on mine and you'd be hard pressed to find better quality in the aftermarket than AEV...
At least you have a dealer who is responsive, mine not so much. Days go by between any correspondence for me, I'm not expecting to be able to add my VIN to the tracker until I take delivery of the truck. Sure wish I'da found this place before being told by concierge who my dealer would be..
Oh, and if you have the opportunity to do so, try to book a campsite on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. You will need to book this waaayyy out, they're kinda hard to score. I managed one for this May at Point Sublime the day after the Overland Expo, super excited about it...
It is, you will want to pick up this book for the best info and maps.

He has a trail book...
Yeah, they basically round the numbers up to 33 as no one outside of us jeep nuts would equate 285's to being 33's. That being said, every manufacturers 285, 315, 35", 37" etc. will measure a bit different. Most 285's run closer to 32", most 35's run closer to 33.5" and 37's between 35-36 or...
I'm running the teraflex falcon adjustable stabilizer on my JKUR. It has 3 settings on it which do change the feel of the steering. Setting 1 feels pretty close to stock, setting 2 adds a nice firmness to the feel and setting 3 is just too stiff, the wheel is too hesitant to self center after...
I’ll be going straight to 35’s as I have a new set anyhow but no lift yet, I’ll wait for options other than Mopar, and I definitely wouldn’t pay dealer rates to have it installed..
BFG K02 or Cooper ST Maxx.
The BFG is hard to beat for DD, especially if there is ever snow involved. But I have been very impressed with the 2 sets of ST Maxx's I've run.
Ordering the LE was me caving in also. I knew I couldn't wait for Sting Grey to become available later this year so I figured Billet was a good compromise, plus it'll match my wifes JKURHR pretty well..
I'd like to see a lift/hoist that mounts to the trail rail mounts in the bed and allows you to lift the top and then rotate it 90Âş-180Âş to be lowered to a cart or whatever you choose. As light as the top should be I'd imagine its possible. A ceiling hoist will do just fine also but my garage...
Nebraska- Hwy 2 cuts across state east-west and traverses the grass covered sand dunes. Really about the only thing worth seeing in Nebraska. Theres Carhenge too if you're into that stuff. And of course Corn Palace... lol
South Dakota- Enter Badlands from the south via Nebraska. Camp...
So it sounds like many people are getting a 2nd concierge call after placing their order with their dealer? I got the initial call the day after signing up online and was then contacted by my dealer a full week later. Placed my deposit with them last Fri the 12th for a Billet LE and it is...
I pretty much echo that exact statement down to selling the F150 for an LE JT. It is going to be hard to get rid of the F150 though, I'll most likely regret it soon afterwards.
I couldn't have said it better myself, especially the last sentence. I have 2 JKUR's, one with a 3.5" JKS suspension...
Well this sucks as I tow a lot. But, if there is a spot on the dash for a knob type controller as we've seen in pics then the REDARC Tow Pro elite should blend in nicely..

I placed my order and got the concierge call next day. It wasn't until today my that local dealer called me about finalizing which I'll do on Friday. Going with Billet..
