I know a family that runs vehicles with the pentastar- they use them for their business. Their son who is the mechanic says they have many with over 400,000 miles on them without issues. The engines are totally solid and reliable. It's the computer shit that causes issues. Because of them I...
Wait for the GMC sierra AT4 with the inline 6 duramax diesel or the Gladiator Rubicon with the ecodiesel, or just bite the bullet and get the Gladiator Rubicon with the pentastar?
I drive plenty of miles/year to make the diesel worth the cost.
My 4Runner will last forever so I'm not in a...
I'm torn between waiting for the diesel or waiting for the diesel on the GMC AT4. They are both delayed. I have a long list comparing the two. I'd rather have the Gladiator however I don't know how much longer I can wait.
I'm kinda tired of waiting and waiting and waiting..... I think I'm going to talk to my buddy who owns a GMC dealership and possibly order a GMC AT4- pretty cool off-roadability and decent $ for what you get Drive it for a few years and then see what the Gladiator is like.
Well.... I guess I'll be getting a RAM or I bet the Ford Baby Raptor will come here with a diesel before they get the 3.0 in the Gladiator.
I crossed the Honda Ridgeline off my list (as soon as I knew it ever existed)
Paying cash....as soon as I can pay off the dealer financing to get the best deal possible. I'll put down as much as I am allowed. Sometimes they make you keep financing for a few months before paying it off but I'll do the math to figure it out.
Tell me where I was bashing Jeep. All I said was that my 2010 Grand Cherokee in comparison to my two Toyotas was a POS. I had more repairs needed on that vehicle in less than 100,000 miles than both of my Toyotas that have logged over 300,000 miles combined. This was my personal experience...
I'd put my 2 Toyotas up against ANY JEEP as far as reliability. My 2015 4Runner is extremely comfortable and is really tough. 135,000 miles and finally just replaced the brakes. Other than that just maintenance. My 94 pickup isn't very comfortable but is bomb-proof. I think I replaced a...
If they ever build something like this I can guarantee you they'll never name it "Africa" The media would make a huge deal out of any type of race implications- that would be the end of Jeep for sure.
I think it would be a sweet vehicle- they just have to be VERY careful these days. I'm...
