I have read the “logic” behind leading over and over here and I just can’t get on board. My vote if find a way to buy it when you can. I’m not going to tell you how to spend your money, just my $0.02.
I think roads ina Jeep community might be a bad example. I mean come on we are the ones who much prefer the “road” less traveled. I am in iceland now and turning right onto 2 lane wheel tracks rather than taking a road has been a trend :-D
Rubicon has more payload than the “luxury” overland. Also if you are comparing off road trucks bringing the overland to the table instead of the rubicon is like sending a boy out to fight vs a gladiator. You would think an outlet like car and driver would do a more apples to apples comparison...
Just pointing this out. We have not seen a production gladiator without a hitch. I did not order the upgraded class IV hutch and am curious to see what I get. And if it really comes with nothing, hoping it’s as easy as it was with a wrangler to add a hitch.
