i recently did the same. Got rid of my 2020 Gobi in hopes to go back playing with cars for a while. Picked up a 2025 Toyota GR Corolla...1 month in and 1300 miles in and I picked back up a 2025 Mojito .
hmmm ok.. it just sounds windish / airish to me and not like gear or straight cut gear whine etc.
Found it odd that my other didnt do that at all.
Well guess its back to just chasing the hiss sound while driving forward over 15mph.
Thanks. I still need to fold the window down when I get a moment to remove my cowl lights and I assume the wipers.
Here is a video of the reverse whistle. Never had this in the other.
Not 100% sure just yet. Maybe not much more. Who knows.
But I don’t see how it couldn’t affect caster as it raises the truck and the control arm brackets are attached to the truck parts it raises higher in turn which would chang the angles?
Noticed this morning I now have a whistle of if I back up quickly instead of slowly. Assuming it’s from the same problem area but not completely sure.
This is getting annoying. Now I noticed that if I back up at any sort of speed other than slowly I get a whining whistle noise. I’m sure it’s from the same issue but not 100%. So far this new truck has had lots of little weird things.
I thought it was a pretty great post and why I used to love forums. Everyone gets waaaaaayyyyyy too butthurt these days compared to how it used to be about 20 years ago.
So on my 20 sport s max tow, i enjoyed it with having rubicon take off stuff and 1.5 level spacer out front and 3/4 daystar spacer out back. Had mopar longer control arms and extended shock brackets for the rubicon shocks. It seemed to ride decent and worked for what I used it for.
I recently...
can you not get GAP insurance on a personal sold used vehicle? If they have GAP then why worry about the accident and the negative equity due to accident.
I somehow had one for free at some point. I still get lots of emails, but im not sure i really ever used it. I got asked the other day if I wanted to join. I still said no. Maybe I should have said yes.
Well just took a drive after taping over the seal gap under the windshield. No change. Also removing freedom panels and reseating made no change. Plugs are in floorboards. I can’t pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from. I’m going to have to have someone ride with me or drive while I move...
yeah. i checked my top seal earlier when I went to reseat the freedom panels just to see if that could be it. Was first time taking them off since purchasing 2 weeks ago. I have taped over the bottom gap to see if theres any difference when I go to drive later. Will report back.
