Was the seat height adjustment removed in the JL? Or with the seat already down all the way still tough for us tall folks? I don't recall reading if it was or not.
Bed depth not bad at all, especially because the JT is not meant to be a construction truck.
Dying to ask a Jeep engineer why the 3.6 power is still underpowered compared to other modern V6s of the same size?!? I can only assume the 3.6 average output is meant for reliability.
Price sounds about right since the current exchange rate is $1.40 Aussy to $1 US. So Rubi starts at $38,636 in US $ which is a little more than what it costs in the US $37,945.
Also wish we had more engine options too! Especially disappointed by the engine power output that hasn't changed in...
Can see it now, you go to the dealership to buy one of these trucks and get told this, "Oh those, yeah... sales guy got a little overzealous with those tweets and can't sell them. Just for show... but uh... got some Wranglers over here. Give you a great deal on a Cherokee if you wait here and I...
True. So the JT is expected to be available at dealerships in June but depending on the initial supply we can expect some dealerships to pull their usual markups. I don't expect to get a JT until the dust settles near the end of the year. Hopefully by then the Hercules will be available...
Its sweet but honestly would swap that hood for a Rubicons, hard enough keeping dust/dirt from engine bay as is. Front fenders are sick tho! Also my price guess if legit... $65K; dealer mark-up $75K.
Aside from the 3.0 Diesel I can't believe Jeep didn't offer a more powerful engine at launch! I...
A good tire repair kit and air pump will work in most cases. I for one will most likely mount a 37" at the top of the bed below the rear window (similar to current Wrangler). Only mount the 5th wheel when traveling/4 wheeling and rely on tire repair kit for day-to-day.
Ahhh... the age old borrowing/asking a buddy with a truck for help. I am a sucker for a pretty face but my JT will strictly be for camping and off roading but I am sure I can be convinced to help on occasion...lol. Also easy to get hooked on Jeep :tumbleweed: :jk::tumbleweed:
I assume a large...
I think with the dark saddle leather option is nice in the build & price until you notice the leather on the doors, steering wheel and center console is still black! WTF?!? I can forgive the shifter sheaths but all else kills the dark saddle for me. Hopefully it is just the site not finished yet...
Sweet dual exhaust but like the spare tire I can see them get mushed if rock crawling the JT. Also after getting 37s + I know I wouldnt put the spare under the bed and would people really want to stuff 37+ under the bed?!?! I suppose there will eventually be an add-on to shield the spare but...
There are 2 tires options. Apparently Rubi's in the pic come with the standard all terrains instead of the more aggressive mud tires which is now an option. This is seen in the build section of the Jeep Gladiator though not sure what the price difference is of course. Surprised the all terrains...
True but at full articulation the 37s on the JL need bump stops. Not sure how far the JT can go with similar lift just yet!
Random funny observation - Chris (2nd video) got allot of crap on YouTube for mentioning JT is good for storing yoga mats...lol.
Wish the soft top was more flat. Just looks funny how the soft top has a peak in the middle like a tent. I suppose if I lift it high enough it wont be as noticable..lol. As for the hard top it is very disappointing the rear window cannot pop out completely.
