JL /JT are very forgiving, unlike JKS , but you still need to calibrate , it will affect shift points, try the old fashioned way, use the mile markers on the interstate and your trip meter, it will be pretty close !
I’m in Maine, rain some flakes, sleet, around 30 degrees this morning, if you don’t like it, wait a minute. Bought mine last November, came with MTs worked really well all winter
Took mine in 8:00 this morning for steering box replacement, had it back just before noon, and they also did the p0300 misfire TSB while they were flashing in the new box, guess I need to drop off another box of donuts, or a bag of breakfast burritos, great shop, great service !
I change mine at about 5k miles, which is about 50% on the meter, I also use the recommended viscosity and factory filter, and I also have been changing my oil for about 50 years, cheap insurance in my book
I live in Maine, up and down hills all the time. When I started driving my JTR I was a bit concerned, but it was in November so through the winter month’s I was getting 16-18 mpg, when good weather hit, mpg went up. I left my job at the end of March , that was when I started getting 19-24 mpg...
I was a service manager for Nissan about 35 years ago, we gained more customers back then by being honest and addressing the issues that other dealers were trying to charge for, when they were covered by warranty
I don’t see why a dealer would play a customer like that, considering the TSB , and the obvious complaints, and you know someone in that dealership follows the forums , if they fix it they get paid, happy customers usually return for other repairs , service , and new vehicles !
Yes , they do get paid, very well I’m told, I asked my service guy about the TSB on the steering box replacement, he had the parts ordered before our conversation was over, parts are supposed to be in next week, they already have the bolt kit. I’m going to remove my synergy bracket, and my winch...
Doesn’t anybody use mud flaps anymore, I made a set for mine, they don’t look the greatest but they did the job, I just purchased some big truck flaps on amazon, sold by the pair , and I can get 4 new ones from that. Make a cardboard template to go by.
I think he is referring to the filler between the front bumper and the fender , most people have to remove this when installing larger tires , 33” -35”
