I should have added that this dealer also took in a TON of late JKs... as in many truck loads... easily 50+ JKs after the JLs were starting to trickle in. So I wonder if that was part of the bargain.
Watch for the "Big Dogs" to get fed first. I know that in my area the HUGE Jeep Dealer had JLs on the lot a week or 2 weeks? Before the smaller dealer.
I'm in sales so my plan is to have a hard Diamond Back Cover..https://diamondbackcovers.com/products/diamondback-270-toyota?variant=12428681248867
Load my sales stuff in the back... Also good for securing other crap since I hope to be soft top from April to Nov.

The kids school is right next to the local Jeep Dealer.. they were unloading a JL Unlimited soft top so I spent some time checking it out. I was blown away at what an improvement this is over the past models. It's like going from a bi-plane to an F35... Fit finish, the way it closes up...
Soft Top + Half Doors with soft windows... That's probably higher on my list than most other people, but it's a HUGE reason why I'm looking at this vs a Tacoma
I honestly am NOT a RTT ( roof top tent ) fan. They look cool, but unless you are in bear country, or somewhere that the animals have YOU on the menu, I'd rather just use a slide in, or pull a little pop up.
That's what I was trying to say... I'm curious to see a test mule with a soft top...even something covered in camo, just to let us know that the soft top is in fact on the way.
