  1. Last Chance for Lava Jackets!

Mine just showed up. Was 41* and overcast today. Took off the Freedom panels and put the windows down. Cranked up the heat, within 3 minutes I had to turn the heat down from high to about 74*, I was getting too hot. I was surprised how well they worked. I can't wait for the cool nights in...
  2. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

It's all working now. Re-checked all the connections and still weren't working. Put everything back together and figured I'd give them a call Monday. Go to start the Jeep and it won't start. Says no key. Then says touch Fob to Start button. Try it and nothing. Now I'm thinking I'm going...
  3. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

Drivers rear only works with the fob when you lock-unlock-lock for the window crack. Won’t go bak up though when I hit the double lock
  4. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

The rears work like normal with car on. No auto up/down. Fronts only work with key fob. If I go down with key fob then go back up, nothing happens for a bit then the fronts go up. Like they waited for rears to go up first. But rears don’t go up or down.
  5. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

Thanks. Have the red wire temp tied in to test. Rears aren’t working. Fronts seem to work okay
  6. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

How do you get through the firewall. I can’t find any holes. Do I drill one?
  7. FINALLY Automatic UP/DOWN ALL windows!

Should the wire colors on a JLU be the same as the JT. Video says Gray to Pink/Green and Purple to Green. Calipoontappa says Gray to Beige/green and purple to Light Green/Green. Going to install on my daughters JLU later today and want to make sure I get my wiring correct.
  8. White Lettered Tires

Years ago it was all white lettering. Not sure when it changed. I bet paint-matched lettering would look pretty cool.
  9. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

I thought someone said, on the original thread, the window wouldn't stop with an obstruction but would be nice to get some first hand reports. Just told my daughter we'd be installing this in her Jeep this weekend. Response.... that's awesome.
  10. Where do you reside? Wondering which state is best represented on this forum?

Rhode Island. Other than being the smallest state, a few years back we were also voted most corrupt. :like:
  11. JT 3Wliners window control module install.

I see you used the blue Posi-taps. It looked like calipoontappa used the red. 16-18 ga vs the 20-22ga. Will either work?
  12. FINALLY Automatic UP/DOWN ALL windows!

Does anyone know which Posi-tap size to get. Is the wire 18ga?
  13. FINALLY Automatic UP/DOWN ALL windows!

Mine arrived today also. Hoping to tackle this weekend.
  14. Dead Gladiator

I guess your Gladiator didn't read the Consumer Reports Most Reliable Car thread.
  15. The Jeep Gladiator Is the Most Reliable Car Consumer Reports Has Tested

I guess they never checked with anybody on this site. :swear:
  16. FINALLY Automatic UP/DOWN ALL windows!

Just bought 2. Since my JT won't be in for 2 more months, figured I'd practice on my daughter's JLU. I wonder if I can have one shipped to the factory and have them install it on the assembly line.
  17. How to get 20mpg+ on 37’s/ECU basics 5/5 up @ 60-70mph with V6 3.6L

Yes, thank you. May give it a try on my daughter's JLU before my Gladiator comes in. I know you said there have been some issues with the Superchips tuner. Would I be better off waiting until their new version comes out?
  18. How to get 20mpg+ on 37’s/ECU basics 5/5 up @ 60-70mph with V6 3.6L

Very informative videos. Total novice here so I apologize if my questions are stupid. If I"m understanding the videos correctly, there are 3 parts of the system you need to upgrade to get the better MPG. Larger air intake, tuner, & new exhaust. 1. Do you need to do all all three to get the...
