WOW ... same as here in Australia! Jeeps are awesome but they are let down by the back-up/dealer 'service'! Thats where Aus is better ... they cant DQ you for something you did yourself (aka 'right to repair'). If you install a lift and the engine falls out, it must be covered!

That is a very tough question ... in Australia I would probably go for the diesel. If there was no diesel Rubicon, I'd probably take a diesel Sport S Max Tow and use aftermarket the heck outta that. I dont really see any situation where I'd buy an Overland - too nice inside! :) The 79 series...

AGM batteries are not suited for use under the bonnet, too much heat! They will work, but you will get less life from them. Lead acid is the way to go under the bonnet.
